Xaedan, the Conqueror of All

A floating mass of psionic energy. In his past, he was a summoner, but in his quest for power, he performed a ritual and formed a pact with the Void to ascend from his corporeal form, becoming an incorporeal psionic being of immense power. The League, seeking to stop his path of conquest before it could get out of hand, captured him and pitted him against the others on the Fields of Justice. Xaedan sees this as time to practice his psionic power and gather strength for the war and conquest to come.

Friends: Xerath, Veigar, Malzahar, Xaedan Rivals: Viktor, Kassadin

"A battle with me is greater honor than you deserve!" "Mind over matter." "You and I aren't so different, summoner..." "Your will is not your own." "Godmind of the new world." "Bow before your king." "Truly, none can stray from my will." "No matter how powerful you are, you're still a worm on the hook." "That's a no-brainer." "You will learn to fear my power!"

Ranged mage, shoots thin laser beams to autoattack.

Passive: Eternal Freedom (alt. Psychogenic Shield) Xaedan is granted a spell shield that blocks the next enemy crowd control effect. This shield refreshes after X seconds, but each spell cast reduces the cooldown by X seconds.

Q: Psychic Drive A wave of electricity flies through an X-unit long path, dealing X magic damage (X% AP scaling) to the first enemy it hits. The driving force of the energy blast also knocks it back X units over 1 second. If the target collides with an enemy, they both take X physical damage (X% AP scaling?) and the one collided with is slowed for X seconds. If the target is knocked into a wall, they instead slam into the wall and take an additional X physical damage. (X% AP scaling?) (Targeting similar to Viktor's Death Ray.)

W: Psionic Dominate Xaedan dominates target monster, enemy minion, or enemy champion. Dominated champions are charmed for X seconds and marked with Dominated for X seconds. Dominated monsters and minions (thralls) are forced to serve Xaedan until death, but their resistances are cut in half, up to a maximum of X thralls based on rank. The thrall will fight for him, granting him gold from its kills. The thrall will follow him and attack nearby enemies, prioritizing enemy champions marked with Dominated, then enemies Xaedan is attacking, and then prioritizing enemy champions in general over minions and monsters. When one of Xaedan's thralls dies, he receives the gold for killing it, regardless of cause of death. Once a rank is put into Xaedan's ultimate, he can then dominate large monsters. (Targeted ability, i.e. Soraka's Astral Infusion)

E: Ego Whip Xaedan lashes a whip of mental energy in the target direction to assault the ego of his enemy, debilitating their confidence. This deals X magic damage (X% AP scaling) to the first enemy hit and slows them for X seconds. If the enemy hit is marked as Dominated, Ego Whip deals true damage instead.

Each hit of Ego Whip applies a stack of Oppressed to its target for X seconds, stacking up to X times. Upon reaching X stacks, the target is stunned for X seconds and takes X magic damage (X% AP scaling). This effect cannot occur on the same target more than once every X seconds, but during this immunity period affected targets instead take X% bonus damage from Ego Whip.

If Ego Whip hits an enemy, its cooldown is reduced by X%. (Linear skillshot, i.e. Tahm Kench's Tongue Lash)

R: Personality Parasite Xaedan begins channeling and dominates target enemy champion, taking control of them and gaining the use of their normal abilities (but not their ultimate) and shielding them for X damage. (X% AP scaling and/or X% bonus/max HP scaling) This control lasts for X seconds, and is represented by a crown atop the champion's head. This control can be broken either by applying hard CC to Xaedan to disrupt his concentration (which also applies a stun to the dominated target for the same duration as the hard CC), or by attacking the target and destroying their shield. If the dominated champion walks more than X units away, the control ends. Xaedan can press R at any time to cancel the channel. (Targeted ability, channeled, i.e. Fiddlesticks' Drain)

(Alternate R: Ultrablast Xaedan grumbles, and then releases a horrid shriek from his subconscious after X seconds that disrupts the brains of all enemies in the area, dealing X magic damage (X% AP scaling), silencing them for X seconds, and purging their buffs. (On-champion AoE, i.e. Blitzcrank's Static Field active)

(Another Alternate R: Twisted Regeneration Xaedan thrusts a psionic tentacle into the enemy's chest, transferring his hurt to another. This deals damage equal to X% (up to 100% at max rank, or instead of reaching 100%, AP scaling?) of his missing health and heals him equal to the amount of damage he transferred.

Xaedan can also use this ability on his allies, healing them to full health, but damaging him for an amount equal to what they were healed. This cannot reduce him below X health, and if he does not have enough health to absorb all the damage the ally has taken, they are only partially healed.)

(Another Alternate R: Puppetry Xaedan releases a wave of mental energy, Dominating all nearby enemies. Enemy champions are Dominated for X seconds, and thralls are only temporarily dominated, being dominated for X seconds, but thralls dominated this way can exceed his cap. Each rank in Puppetry passively increases the stats of his thralls.)

Summoners don't exist anymore, and he's a bit... Xerathy...

Both ults IMO aren't very good, his normal R literally punishes the enemy team for getting fed, and the few champs with buffs have them in an extremely short duration. His normal ult also either lets your allies get free damage for a long period of time, allows team kills, or denies all damage, making it an extremely annoying version of kindred's ult for some.

Thralls makes it way too easy to push lanes without AP, dominating a cannon minion or melee minion, heck, dominating a buff monster / large monster is OP. Gromp can 1v1 champs at level 1, so he'd be OP in the jungle or in lane early game. Later on, it becomes way too useless unless you get a banner of command, or a super minion. It also reduces your gold income by a lot.

Ego whip seems difficult to balance but it'd be very interesting if it works. However, combined with Q gives him a bit too much CC considering he also has immunity. I'd say he'd have to have a tiny range while being immobile, like Annie or Ryze if this is the case, or be like Janna and have little to no potential to deal damage. It's important to keep in mind that if it has a cooldown a lot smaller than W or Q, it'll have to be the main source of cooldown reduction for the passive while Q and W don't synergize at all.

Having thralls is kind of hard to balance or make interesting (it's pretty much a flashy version of Malzahar or Elise's stuff), unless a lot of time is spent making a system as large as the smite-system except for one champion only. Even then, it'd have to be as an ult or passive.
