Is LoL Planning on Having More Marai Champions?
Nami is my most favourite champion in League of Legends, I have been waiting to see if more Marai would be making an appearance and hoping!
Is there any plans to create more champions akin to Nami?

I hope so! I'm working on a concept for such a champion (An ADC that would match Nami rather well, ironically), and the problem I most realized when designing such a champion is how they would move on land! Not all Marai are capable of manipulating the tides like Nami, she holds the unique privilege of such, but I think its definitely an interesting idea to explore!

More mermaid champions?
I dunno, the whole idea just seems fishy to me.
Chances for a new Marai champ are kinda slim. With the way champs are added,every new champ tries to be something different than everyone else.
Bard is a shinto god,Rek'sai a burrowing monster,kalista a vengeful spirit,gnar a caveman/hulk-guy,azir an emporer/sand-mage/Ra-dude,etc.
The marai are most likely a merfolk and well Nami is already the mermaid champ,so there is little space for another one.
That doesn't mean a Marai champ is completely out of question,he/she would just need to be different enough in terms of Namis general archetype(which is being a merfolk/mermaid-champ). For example if there'd be a marai with the lower body of an octopus,that would most likely be different enough from nami,but would raise the question if octopus dude is something cool enough to have in the game.

I really want an enemy of the Marai. Like, it is said Nami's trying to save her people from an evil darkness, but the only time we saw that dakrness in action was against Nautilus. To be honest.
I want an evil crab champion. Like, a crustacean assassin, or an AP bruiser(we lack of those compared to ad bruisers). Urgot doesn't count.
