2019 VS Event Concept Ideas

2017 brought us Dawnbringer vs Nightbringer , with the theme of Light vs Darkness 2018 brought us God-King vs God-King , with the theme focusing on Lawful Dictatorship vs Unruly Chaos

The VS events brings pits champions who have rivalries in their lores, but adds a twist to them (making them symbolize good vs evil). For the 2019 VS event, I am certain that Riot will stick to this main theme, and make skins based on the premise of Good vs Evil.

Here are some champions that have the possibility for being in the 2019 VS event:

vs - The rivalry between these two ninjas is astonishing, with Shen being the perfect student to his master while Zed struggled to keep up, only to be corrupted by the shadows and murder their own master. These two champions go way back, and their rivalry with each other would make a pretty good VS event for 2019 (Possibility of happening: High)

vs - Ah yes, the two Demigod brothers. Ideal champions to be chosen for the VS event. Ornn just wants to build and have peace, while Volibear strives for war. These two top lane juggernauts can go ham against each other, and it might bring back Volibear back into the spotlight (since he currently only has a .31% pick rate). However, we already had two top-laners already taking the spotlight for 2018, so the possibility of Riot doing an event involving another set of bruisers is slightly lower. (Possibility of happening: Average)

vs - Speaking of sibling rivalries...we have Kayle vs Morgana. Angel vs Fallen Angel. Literal symbols of Light vs Darkness. I just can't grasp any skin ideas that will make them stand out for an VS event, if Riot sticks with the theme of Light vs Dark, however if Riot goes off the rails with this match-up for an VS event, I would love to see what they would have in store. I feel like there are plenty more interesting rivalries then Kayle and Morgana though, so the possibility Riot uses these two are pretty low. (Possibility of happening: Low)

vs - Lucian vs Thresh has been a main stay of the League of Legends lore ever since Lucian was released. Thresh took everything Lucian held dearly (most importantly Lucian's wife) and now Lucian's been trying to murder Thresh ever since. This would be a good VS event because Riot has more flexibility with these two characters on what to do with their legendary VS skins. (Possibility of happening: Average)

vs - The leaders of Demacia and Noxus duking it out in next year's VS event? Count me in. I can defiantly see Riot doing another Demacia vs Noxus ordeal with Jarven and Swain, but I just feel like they should do something else next year and hold off onto this? Don't get me wrong, I would love to see this, but maybe in 2020. Most of you probably feel the same way too. (Possibility of happening: Average)

vs - Piltover vs Zaun. I feel like this is such an underrated rivalry between these two regions. It's overshadowed by Demacia and Noxus, that most of us forget that Piltover and Zaun are bitter rivals. One that enforces restrictions on their technology and research, and one that does not. Anyways, I picked Jayce and Viktor to represent their respective region because of the history they have together (Viktor stealing Jayce's research in order to spark his GLORIOUS REVOLUTION and this caused Jayce to build his trademark hammer and break into Viktor's fortress to get it back.) However, any Piltover and Zaun champion would work just fine, and I just feel like Riot will toy with this idea within the next couple of months. ex: & vs , vs , etc. (Possibility of happening: High)

These are some few matchups that could be a possibility for next year's VS event. Let me know what you guys think!
