Aggressive pings

Could we make an option that muting a player in game also mutes the sounds from their pings, I just had a match with someone who did nothing but aggressive ping, every singe time he pinged. it was 6 times in a row. and all they did was ping. this is an issue in the community that i have had inside of other games as well and I got so tilted and thrown off of my game that i just wouldnt do it anymore and I resulted in giving up. I was pinged to a degree that I tilted, when i was doing great before aswell. @RiotStaff please make it so when you mute a player it mutes their ping sounds. or add another button. I dont believe i am alone in this aswell. the top laner in our game was flaming him in the chat because of the pings. DEAR GOD it was somthing that should have never been an issue in the first place

I agree 100%, the great idea of smart pings slowly has turned into more of a problem than solution, but obviously we still need the tool. So to not get rid of it, we need to be able to mute aggressive behavior. A lot of the fun to LoL is the strategic differences we take in playing the game, be it split pushing, team fighting, quick rotation objective control comps, it seems the pings have become a tool to discourage the strategic opinion of other players in game rather than the tool it was meant to be to quickly share needed information.
