Yeah, that's a good concept.

I'd suggest a small tweak to the concept: rename it to "primal arcanist" or "ancient arcanist" and cover his outfit in ancient/primitive (slightly shamanistic) looking relics and runes. The theme would be that he was a mage in an ancient era, who in studying the arts of time magic, leapt forward into the modern era. Alternatively, it could be themed around an Ekko who accidentally stranded himself in the distant past without the benefit of his technology and had to learn how to manipulate time using ancient magic rituals in order to return back to the current era. In either case, Ekko could look older and more sagely, having spent years studying ancient time magic.

This is really interesting, although I'm not a fan of the hat. Ekko is better off showing off the his wig.

Too bad he'd be permabanned by me if he ever got a new skin. Last thing I like to see is that annoying little gnat doing them drive-by kills on my teammates.
