A fix for the plants?

So not many people (at least that I've talked to) are liking the new plants idea. I, only the other hand, think that it is a mechanic with LOTS of potential. Recently, Redmercy posted a video about the plants and I had an idea. What if you could buy seeds for the plants and place them in the jungle where they would sprout later in the game? I commented this idea, and the post had only positive feedback.

This would completely eliminate the RNG factor that everyone seems to dislike about the idea. Upvote if you think it's a good idea!!
