Victorious Skins

This is a thought I saw a long time ago. Basically, I think it's entirely plausible for those who achieve enough to be awarded with a victorious skin, to be able to choose from the pool of victorious skins as to which they want, only one obviously. This would mean simply that those who've earned it get their dues, but can more likely get a skin for a champion they main rather than a skin they would never use.

Quick example myself.. I only started playing about a year ago, and main support. I only now feel confident enough to climb the ranking system, as I have never had much time to play and wasn't very good. I main morgana and looked on as the victorious skin came and went with no way realistically for me to achieve it. Pretending I can achieve such this season, I would love to be awarded that particular skin, or Janna's, rather than say.. I don't know, a victorious leblanc for example. A skin I would never use much. Not now anyway.

What does everyone think? I think it's fair.. but that is me. This would also allow them to add more victorious skins without handing them out right away, leaving even senior players with all previous victorious drooling a little bit waiting for the end of the season.

Just something I thought of to add on. With the new mastery system which I think is interesting by itself.. perhaps a certain tier of mastery could be required to choose said skin. Just another thought.

So for the people that have earned every Victorious skin ever they are just... screwed? Since they get a champ skin they don't necessarily play with. So the people that legit earned the awards vs the people that came late to the party, get the swag? I still fully support Victorious being exclusive and honestly with the Morg nerfs on PBE I hope to god they don't make any of my mains victorious because nerfs follow... RIP Elise and soon to be Morgana.

I think that is a great idea. I myself, have just started playing the game a few weeks ago and it would be awesome to be able to EARN a previous victorious skin that has come before my time (morgana/janna/etc). I know there are a lot of players out there who do not like the idea of having a second opportunity at the previous vic skins.........but look at it this way.

In relation to me, I would never be able to get all of the skins even if LOL would implement something like this...... so all of those players who spent hours upon hours getting them all from previous seasons, will still be the only ones with all the skins. I also want to point out that we all would still have to reach the same standard as from previous season to attain said skins. Furthermore, anyone who attempts to get a skin moving forward would have the CHOICE of which skin they want (whether it be the new one or an old one). I think this is at least something worth looking into. I heard that a marksman character might be picked for this season (I currently main Ashe) and I would be devastated if there was a skin for her that I could not get.

All in all.....the only big difference here is that the vic skin pool would not just be limited to that current season. I hope Riot looks into this and hopefully they can figure something out to please us all.
