Just my two cents before I see it on release if the new rune system is good or not but I knew having runes made free would have a kicker. Free runes would mean a change the whole system of runes and all I wonder now is if it's gonna be good or not.
theres way less variety, this system looks like a completely neutered system... I can't stack spell vamp/health regen/ lethality/crit damage/ spell pen, nothing cool.. just some gimmicks... I play exclusively aram though and to be honest, I probably wont even play after update... health regen runes are bread and butter for tanks in aram.
I mean... that's not the point of the update! Their goal is to make runes even MORE game changing, and accessible to everyone! There really is no downside to the new system--there is more variety in playstyles to choose from now, and instead of one mastery-rune build being for EVERY CHAMP, this opens up new possibilities in freedom!
