I for one love summoner icons and the achievements they represent. I believe riot should introduce new icons specifically for a champion or role. For example if a jung steals dragon they get an icon or if a thresh lands 1000 hooks gets a hook icon. This way people who main one champ or role can be rewarded.
They do have role-based icons for Team Builder.
Well yeah but you could get those just by selecting the roles and then playing. Like a could have gone Vel Koz mid and picked assassin for five games just to get the icons. The one im thinking if can only be done by that role like go invisible 500 times or strike from the brush 500 times. Assassins would earn these ones specific to their role
Achievement-based icons is what you're thinking of, yes? The teambuilder one's are a toe in the water. A start but nothing too spectacular.
Getting a penta-kill, Getting 10 champ kills in a row in a draft match, Winning a match without dying once, etc.
