Galio's Theme - In Memory of Durand

Hi, dear community !

This is my original theme song for Galio. It sounds sad because it is based on Galio's story. His creator, Durand, died right in front of him. After that, Galio felt solitude. Sorrow.

But Demacia was going to give him a new hope... A new purpose. That's why I called this piano song "In Memory of Durand".

I hope you enjoy the music ! Let me know what you think. Thank you.

Wow. This was simply beautiful; It captured the exact feelings you were trying to convey. A very moving song, I absolutely loved it :D If you compose any more Champion theme songs, PLEASE share them with the community! I'll be waiting anxiously for the next one if you do choose to make another :P

Hi again, do you happen to have sheet music for your songs? If yes, would you like to publish those, since most of your songs are pretty good?

My last name is Durand, and my summoner name was Gatekeeper Galio for a year.

Coincidence? I think not.

I like it a lot, a lot a lot, only I felt as though it was 'too carefree' for Galio? I am not a professional as you are so all I can suggest is maybe use a lower octive? It was mournful, but almost sounded like Galio had lost a lover instead of his father, especially in the first few measures.

Really good even still.

I love this so much, and could never create something like this, being a songwriter myself. Small suggestion though, (that may annoy everyone here, but also may benefit you, the writer, in the future). Instead of using that split feature on the piano to have the piano and the violin playing the same notes, you should lay down a piano track first, then add a complimentary violin track after. That way you eliminate the notes that are redundant and even overpowering at times, and just keep the notes and chords that subtly compliment the song. That's just my opinion though, play around with it if you want.

(I was expecting my first forum post to be funnier and less wordy than that, damn. XD Oh well, at least it may have helped someone improve)
