Rito, when we pay for a skin, is it a permanent purchase or a temporal access to a visual upgrade?

As a player who has bought all the Fiora skins, my opinion Riot

Dear rito, i posted when this was on PBE, im really disappointed that you changed Royal Fiora guard skin, i think its a downgrade, and seeing that there's no guarantee you will respect what people buy from you, im no longer buying skins (i own like 40) and i personally cannot buy stuff from a store that will take whats bought and change it with no consent, this just means we dont own anything we buy here and i didnt see any poll or Fiora skin owners consent.

Players should be warned when they buy that what is sold here, is not a permanent addition to their account but rather a temporary visual enhancement.

Whether i liked or not the Fiora changes, for that i cant feel as sad, cause this is a free game and its not a character we PAY for playing so i understand you can do whatever you want with it, but i PAID for that fiora look, and it angers me there's not even a reply for a paying customer here.

Other companies would kill for having people buying continuously from them like you do, as advice, you should stand by for what you sell, its like if i go to a restaurant to buy a meal and sit to eat it, and then the restaurant owner takes it off my plate without asking, says its HIS meal, and my time with it its over. That restaurant will go broke treating people like that, period.

Rather unflattering angle(s). I think the skin looks quite attractive. I thought it went without saying that virtual items of any kind are never a guarantee, and you do not in fact "own" them. I learned that from Neopets like 8 years ago. However, it is entirely reasonable and plausible at this point for Riot to warn its buyers more up-front about how Skins are subject to change in appearance, and that refunds are not entitled upon rework.

Oh wow the new one looks like shit lol.

Anyways, it's always been in the ToS that you don't own anything on your account and they can take it or change it at any point without warning or reason.

This thread should be pinned to the top. I'm not a Fiora player, but I feel your pain. Nautilus, Battlecast Urgot, and a few other of my champs have been visually destroyed by these "reworks".

Honestly, my last purchase with RP had to have been nearly a year ago at this point. Probably when Underworld Wukong came out, or the re-release of Championship Thresh. I just can't trust the quality of skins to carry over to their reworks.

Actually, thanks to a law passed in England, you can't own any digital product without written consent of the owners of the media.

Honestly if feel like that then you should cut your loses and leave the game entirely
