1 v 1 & 2 v 2 Game Mode

Now since I joined LOL in season 4 I'm not aware of previous ideas Riot has thought of in the past, but in the current light of the All-Stars event why doesn't Riot bring in a 1v1 or maybe a 2v2 game mode. Now for starters I wouldn't say make a whole new map for the 1v1 area but keep the same code you're currently using for the 1v1 battles and apply them to live game's. Most players love 1v1ing their friends but if we could 1v1 others maybe for a ranking sense later on but initially I would love the idea to come though. Any thoughts other have or maybe try to up-vote this so a rioter can see this and we can actually have this occur.
