Sawbones - the Surgeon (Champion Concept)

Biography

"In the festering undercity of Zaun, medical attention is sorely needed but seldom provided. Most treatment takes the form of bizarre techmaturgical experiments inflicted on the needy, but for the wealthy and powerful, a higher class of medical attention is available: Sawbones. Exposed to the pollution of Zaun, the boy that would become Sawbones developed a unique magical malady. His touch delays death. It wasn't long before the College of Techmaturgy became fascinated with young Orpheus's invaluable gift. The college contacted his family and offered to take Orpheus off the street. They accepted.

The boy's ability was put to use at an early age. Experiments with his gift soon turned to aiding in the most extreme experiments of the college. In the operation theatres of the College of Techmaturgy, the boy kept patients alive, and he watched. As he came of age, Orpheus learned to wield the instruments he was surrounded by. The hand that staved off death learned to wield the knife. Permitted by his ability to ignore normal rules of operation, Orpheus earned the nickname Sawbones. Under Sawbones' care, it doesn't matter how grievous the injuries or how agonizing the pain, the patient will live."

Description

Sawbones is a pale man wearing a white coat with an ensemble of heavy green gloves, a green apron and a green face mask. He wears glasses that catch a conspicuous amount of light and carries a black medical bag in his offhand.

Abilities

Passive - Urgent Care - Sawbones leaps a short distance when targeting allies with an ability.

Q - Surgery - 12 second cooldown. 3 second channel. Similar Range to Warwick Q. Sawbones begins operating on target champion, restoring health to an ally or damaging an enemy for up to 24/28/32/36/40%(+.4 AP) of their maximum health over the channel.

When casting Surgery on an ally, Sawbones drops his bag near his feet and begins stitching them up. Casting on an enemy, Sawbones withdraws a hacksaw and violently goes to work.

W - Surgery Suite - Target Location. 17/16/15/14/13 second cooldown. Similar range and diameter to Veigar's Event Horizon. Summon a curtain and spotlight to target location. The curtain is impassable terrain to enemies, allies may freely pass. The curtain has health equal to 40xrank + 10x Sawbones' level + .5 Ability Power. Enemy projectiles are absorbed by the curtain.

Sawbones' basic attacks and abilities are 25% stronger within the Surgery Suite.

E - Deathless Touch - Target Ally. 7 second cooldown. Melee distance. Sawbones touches target ally, deadening their senses granting them 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% (+.05 AP) damage reduction and preventing them from dying for 1.5 seconds. Damage they would receive during this time is only delayed and will take effect once Deathless Touch ends.

R - Calling Card/House Call - Target Allied Champion. 120/90/60 second cooldown. Sawbones manifests his card in target ally's inventory, changing his ultimate to 'House Call' and allowing them to summon him at any time. This card overwrites the ally's trinket slot while in their inventory. By activating the trinket, the allied champion opens a 10-second window for Sawbones to begin channeling House Call. At the end of a 1.5 second channel, Sawbones teleports to the Ally.

Consuming a Calling Card trinket plays a global sound clip to warn the enemy team.
