Champion Idea: Gerath The returned
_Sleep is important in runeterra, without sleep you could not recover your strength. But for those that run from sleep a terrible curse is awakened a sluggish monster in the distance, a corpse of a defeated soldier that truds toward you, his body is impaled by many weapons his eyes rotted to the point nothing but sockets remain and his teeth gnash at the very air trying to eat the very air you breathe. This creature is the returned who could only be seen by those who forgo the act of rest hallucinate and begin to see this monster they are driven mad and are never seen again. Its said the creature drags them beneath the dirt to forever sleep in a never waking nightmare. Nobody knows where this creature came from, possibly the shadow isles, its unclear but what is known is that the living are his enemy. _
He serves as tanky bruiser that is difficult to shrug off.
Passive: No grave can drag me down.
Passively his auto attacks steal life force from his opponents healing based on missing health allowing him to recover more health the lower his hp is.
Upon loosing all of his hp he becomes an incorporeal spirit for 10 seconds, as a spirit he can still attack enemies and cast spells but wont deal damage, instead will recover hp and slow enemies as he does so, after 10 seconds he will return to his corporal state based upon the hp he recovered. This ability has a 180 second cooldown.
Q: Eternal Spite
Gerath will throw one of the weapons impaled into him down a line damaging enemies it hits, if it hits a hero it will deal additional damage over time and reduce their defenses by 10% for 6 seconds this can stack with itself up to 40%.
W: Wretched drowsiness.
Passive: Will cause enemies who remain within 400 units of Gerath for longer than 4 seconds will become drowsy, slowing their movement speed and reducing the physical damage they do for 3 seconds.
Active: Upon activation releases a cloud of dust around Gerath that will damage enemies. Enemies that are drowsy will be put to sleep for 2 seconds where they will take damage each second based on their maximum health.
E: Unearthed Evil
Gerath tunnels through the ground to a target location damaging enemies in his wake and enhancing his next auto attack to deal additional damage, have additional range and pull the enemy toward Gerath.
R: Unsightly demise
Creates a pit where dead creatures attack and pull enemies down damaging enemies every second while they are in it. The pit will also slow enemies down based on their missing health making them move slower and slower as their health decreases. The pit also grounds enemies preventing movement based abilities from being used. Lasts for 4 seconds.
