What is this hot pink winged abomination we got instead? There are times where directly ripping something off is way better than coming up with your own mess. This was one of those times.

Riotmoonstones18 votesI didn't say she'd become completely different. However, the lighting looks much better in game, as well as any particles that are added to a skin. Our goal wasn't to copy this particular Polycount entry, which is why they aren't 100% copies of each other.

I'm not suggesting that opinions will automatically be swayed. Lighting, as well as particles, SFX, and voice processing make the skin ten times cooler than just taking a look at a model viewer. The whole package is what makes a skin cool, imo, not just the bits and pieces.

Why a demonic Vi instead of Infernal Vi?

It tends to be used as an excuse to bump up the price of otherwise mediocre skins. I can understand it for certain skins (though the only one I can really think of is Arclight Varus, and that was removing voice processing, not adding it) but I don't feel that any of the other skins that have it really need it.
On a different note, there's an easy way to have people not freak out over model viewer stuff. You can either A) release in game screen shots in your PBE announcement threads or B) have some sort of way to preview skins in game, instead of having to rely on third party sites. This also prevents the 'splash looks nothing like the actual skin' problem.

I'm pretty sure most people that didn't like the model viewer pics will change their mind when they use it on the PBE or look at its video. There's really no comparison. It looks absolutely fantastic when playing with the VFX and everything going.
First PROJECT: Fiora and now Demon Vi.

I love the Vi skin and think it's a great idea, but I was wondering if we can slightly adjust the colors so that they don't blend together as much because I'm a bit colorblind and the pink/red arnt distinct and kind of meld together.

We did take a look at this in terms of colorblind conditions. We had two Rioters who are colorblind take a look at this skin in game and determined that the colors in the particles were not an issue in terms of gameplay and were fairly clear in terms of differentiating it from the model. This is in regards to red/green colorblind, which is what we balance for, as it's the most common. In some cases (Blood Moon Thresh v. base Thresh), we're unable to accommodate colorblind conditions fully, but it's part of our testing procedure.

You could have been abit more Mature and Requested a Chroma pack for the skin. maybe you would get your Red Devil Vi. But this is more to the Succubus side of a Demon not a Devil.
