Splash Art vs. Ingame Models. Also, model viewers.
I'm a cosplayer. Because of this, I look at game models and splash art a lot. Some champions have serious differences between the two, and that makes me sad.
For example, look at Lux's ingame model: http://www.lolking.net/models/?champion=99&skin=0
Now, look at her splash: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Lux/SkinsTrivia?file=Lux_OriginalSkin.jpg
Almost her entire set of armor has obvious or subtle differences. The baton and headband are different too. It looks like the last splash, while not as rainbowy and pretty as the current one, was closer to her ingame model. Is the newer splash a harbinger of a visual upgrade, or just artistic license?
Secondly, a model viewer would be a great addition to Riot's website or even the game client. As far as I know, Lolking has the best (only?) up to date model viewer on the internet, and it could be better. Just as an example, it doesn't show Elise's spider form. YOU could make a better one, Riot. I believe in you.
