Omen's Replacement.

For anyone that has seen this, and of those who know who omen is, know that this is, in essence, Omen's replacement. I need to voice a certain opinion, and I do very much hope those who read what I'm about to say understand. My desire is to create this opinion in as many as I can. To do this, I must remind, or inform, everyone of Lee Sin's Classic and Traditional skins. When Lee Sin was due to be released, his Traditional skin was to be his classic skin. A few from Riot did not want (correct me if I'm wrong) something that violent-looking to be on someone that calm. So, a new Classic was made for him, and now his Traditional skin is available as homage to his original look.

That being said.. my opinion is obvious. For Omen, someone cancelled and then brought back to life as the Sand King, I would like to see homage to who and what this is. I want to see Traditional [Whatever they're naming him now].

I want to see Omen {{summoner:10}} .

I predict abilities that allow it to burrow underground and pop up at previously placed potholes for ganking ability. Just a guess tho.

I forsee an ultimate similar to Zac's where there are popups and dives... XD

Not like bouncing around, no I mean... I probably should have said "Zac + Kha'Zix" mix... Like diving and being free to choose where to come up next. Maybe creating impassable terrain where she dives and surfaces...

Go watch the Kalista movie again, you see Omen on top of the sign for the Inn that the dude runs to. Trust me.

At what time? I saw him run to one door, it had nothing over it, the second I suppose might look like omen, save... for it kind of looked like a rat (Omen's tail is a tad thicker with a belled end) and the third looked like Cthulu/Hydra.

i figured it was something "like: Omen but personally they this "thing" looks so BOSS. it looks like a shark + dinosaur + humanic (because its torso looks human when it standed on its tail). i think this Champion is gonna be a roaming JG Fighter with great mobility & ambush like abilities for great burst damage & for initiation.

It does! But like I said, it is in base and first glance, Omen's replacement. Omen was said to burrow with naught but his spikes visible. This has a spine visible as it burrows. I do like the sharksaurus-sapien idea on her, though. It would be a very methodical way to recreate Omen into something viable in their style

this may be a streatch but what if this new Void Champion is......Kass daughter! think about in his lore Mal sacrafised Kass daughter to the void, what if she was still alive but the energy in the void twisted her to become that monster. & u know how the void champions are seeking or are wanting something like Kha wants to evolve, Vel wants Runeterra's knowledge, what if Kass daughter found a way back to Runeterra & is now seeking revenge on Mal for both sacrafing her & turning her into a monster? if you think about it it could be a very possible LORE idea.

... Omen was male, this is female... what does that have to do with it? If this champion will have the same idea as omen, would we not be able to see an omen-esque homage?

This champion is nothing like Omen.

Lee Sin was literally the exact same champion before & after the visual change.

I see no reason for a classic skin, especially when Omen isn't related to the Sand King.

This new champion showed all known information about Omen's idea as a champion. The only new bit is that purple portal-looking goop when breaking the surface.

Dial it down, man.

He is the same champion, beta and onward. Lee Sin did not change. I will acknowledge that first. I'm speculating, guessing on knowledge released to public. Omen is known to burrow down with his spines showing. This creature did the same. Omen was said to burst from the ground. This creature did the same. The only difference I had seen (repeating that: " I had seen" ) is that there looked to be void-looking portal-shimmer when she surfaced. She looks to be Omen's re-imagining.

Also note: The "sand king" comment was my attempt at satire for what this champion is currently.

Omen was a ranged ADC who shot his spikes at enemies[source].

The Sand King is obviously nothing like this, preferring to ambush his prey and presumably eat them straight up.

Was Omen supposed to be related to Nassus?? Because Nassus is always saying something about "some things should remain burried" I think he is referring to this thing.
