****LORE:

Within the peaceful lands of Ionia, there are dark secrecies that must be carried out in order to maintain the image of harmony. The unseen ones carries out detrimental tasks to support the fragile structure of Ionia from the shadows. These tasks are not respectable for these missions defy the decorum of Ionia. The Order of Fallen Petals was created to support Ionia through the shadows. Yoko was raised exclusively as an assassin. She is utterly inured in the sight of death; eventually she learned to use the essence of death to power herself. Her female master taught her how to fight in the Order. She raised Yoko as her own, but she also had a daughter who was destined to be a ninja. As she grew much older, her task was to kill her master in order to complete the “Fallen Petal”. Yoko was then placed into the command of the order leader who took part in crucial missions to protect Ionia. The members of the order detested Yoko for she did not care for her comrades, only the success of the mission. As she grew more powerful the leader saw her as a threat and began to strategize her assassination. She quickly became aware of his plans and confronted him. The entire Order was ordered to kill Yoko and they failed to strike her down. Enraged, she effortlessly brought down members of the order and rushed for her former master. Her eyes glowed ghastly blue as she absorbed the essence of the fallen. Having slain all of the members, she went after her master. She pierced her master with her glowing hands and tried to absorb his essence but he only let out a dark laugh and vaporized into purple mist. The master’s decorum fell to the floor shattering to shiny shards, and then it reformed upon Yoko recognizing her powers. Yoko ruminated on her new freedom and joined the League of Legends promising to herself that one day she will find and assassinate her former master.

ABILITIES:

(Passive) Spirit Elegy

Whenever Yoko is nearby the death of a minion, monster, ally or an enemy champion, she gains stacks Essence Flare. Minions add 0.5 stacks while allies and enemies add 2 stacks. At 4 stacks, Essence Flare increases the damages of her next ability.

(Q) Retrograde Decorum

Yoko hurls her decorum ring blade to a target location, which disperses to smaller shards damaging nearby enemies. Shards will then eventually return to her dealing damage to enemies on the way back.

(W) Calamity Pledge

(Passive) Yoko gains attack speed. When a nearby ally or enemy champion has fallen, Yoko gains increased movement speed.

(Active) When activated, Yoko gains a temporary shield and ability power stacking for each fallen champion.

(E)** Fallen Petal **

Yoko leaps to a target location and jabs the enemy stealing their essence and roots the enemy. Yoko can activate this ability to leap to the location of her blade ring. This skill resets upon a kill.

(R) **Death Divergence ** When Yoko activates Death Divergence, she begins to absorbs all nearby champions essence gaining attack speed, movement speed, ability power. Upon reactivation, for every fallen champion she absorbs, she gains a bonus shield and their essence merges with her allowing her to have multiple attacks dealing extra magical damage. This stacks for every fallen champion. (Similar to max devourer enchant).

Interesting concept. Looks like Irelia's rival.

looks pretty much like karma lol

Also, is it just me, or is there an Irelia-ish air to this champ?

I give you an upvote for the beautiful art.

(p) there's nothing wrong with the passive

(q) still fine

(w) just need some re wording on the passive. also, i presume this champion is supposed to be a mid laner, why would you give her attack speed??? there's no point.

-when a nearby ally or enemy champion has fallen, Yoko gains both a slight attack speed buff, and bonus movement speed.

(e) so can you only dash a certain distance if her q isn't out? it just seems a bit too obstructive. i was also working on a champ that can go back to her skillshot, but i had that on a reactivated q, so i could free up some slots.

(r) now this is a perfect example of unclear optomization. it would make sense for you to use this ability at the beginning of the fight because, "yoko absorbs all nearby champion essence" to get the buffs so you can deal out more DPS, and then get out. however, you are also tempted to use it near the end to get a more powerful ultimate. this will make the player hesitate and rush when a fight breaks out.

anyways, this is a link i give to all champion designers as it is really helpful http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=293417

First off, let me say that I think there is potential here. First thing the concept art and story make me think of is an opposite of Karma (which is my main). On this note, my suggestions are kind of based around seeing this champion be more of what Karma isn't while still resembling the same feel. Now here is some criticism:

  1. Q is far too similar to ekko's ability.. maybe you could have it be a skillshot that travels a constant speed until reactivated and upon reactivation it expands and deals AoE dmg and provides an area for the E to target, but it does not return. Maybe when you E to it it can contract inwards on its center of expansion rather than back to you, kinda like a mini talon ult.

  2. maybe make the E be point-click, and have its range be extended a bit if targeting the Q zone, thus granting a mobility boost by sacrificing damage. This would resemble Karma's dynamic of having choices to make with her Mantra regarding whether to use it defensively and/or offensively.

  3. I like the general idea of the passive, but I was thinking maybe you could add a little more to it. At the moment it feels like Karma's Mantra except in certain situations it would recharge faster/not require a skill slot at the expense of being generally less impactful/not having as much control over it. ( I think this fits the lore you made well though in opposition to Karma's style). The main think I would change about the passive is to make it not only add damage, but also add some miscellaneous effect giving the abilities more utility. That being said it can't be something big like Karma's mantra, but maybe increasing the max range of Q or applying mr reduction on E would be something interesting. These are both things that wouldn't become bothersome to the player due to the relative lack of control over passive stacks.

  4. The Ult... I have a lot of things to say about this. I'll start with saying that I very much like the idea of siphoning your enemies stats, especially on a duelist which is what Yoko seems like to me. Since there are so many things I would change in the ult, I'm just going to write it as a detailed tooltip.

Death Divergence(R) - 600 range (maybe 700... idk ranges very well) 0.5 second Channel All enemies within range for the full duration of the channel receive a 4 second long debuff reducing their damage(magic/phys but not true) and move speed by 10%. Yoko gains 10% damage and move speed if 1 enemy is hit and an extra 5% for each additional enemy. If this spell is cast with the Spirit Elegy(passive) buff, the affected opponents also receive a mark that detonates when Yoko hits them, granting Yoko another 4 stacks of elegy and maybe healing her or doing a bit more damage..

There are a few reasons I am suggesting these changes:

  1. Reset dependent champions are bad for the game in my opinion, and making Yoko's abilities so reliant on the death of enemy champions makes me nervous. (although I do get it from a lore perspective)
  2. Since Yoko seems like a duelist, I feel the the way you wrote up her ult is very underwhelming in dueling situations.

Now for the BIG issue, her W As it stands, I agree with Apple4th7's comment that attack speed seems irrelevant on a champion who presumably builds ap, but doesn't have any on hit steroid. That being said, you could make the passive part turn a percentage of your auto attack damage into magic damage that scales with your AP and by leveling the skill up, then you could make the activated part of the skill turn the non-magic portion of her autos into true damage and grant attack speed(maybe). Also, make W grant a large yet short move speed buff when activated with 4 Spirit Elegy stacks.

In a way, the changes i suggest kind of lean towards making Yoko less like Ekko and more like Fiora, which I feel would be a perfect niche for Yoko considering Riot is about to completely remove the current Fiora from the game. Also, please understand these are just suggestions, but I feel that they would only enhance the wonderful champion design you already created. Keep in mind I'm writing all this at 4 in the morning. Only take what you find useful. I just hope you get some ideas, because honestly I wouldn't want to see Yoko come out as-is.

Summary:

  1. buff the passive to increase range on Q and add mr debuff on E
  2. remove return path on Q but buff the aoe range and maybe add in additional dmg when E is used on it. move speed when it consumes passive stacks.
  3. change W to grant magic damage autos that scale with ap and have activate grant true damage
  4. Make E point-click with the center of Q being a valid target, and offer E greatly increased range when targeting Q instead of minions/champions.
  5. Make ult steal dmg/move speed instead of attack speed and offer a massive steroid to her passive.

My new main. Sorry fizz

Great idea, but I recommend replacing 'decorum'. It means 'politeness' and as such doesn't really make sense in this context. What about something more Ionian-sounding?

Really like the skills. I think her passive is quite cool as well. Nice work!
