Calignos: The Father of Darkness

Top Lane Bruiser/Fighter

Lore

Before going in on Calignos's lore you need to have read Zed's and Nocturne's lore, so if you haven't done that, do it before you continue reading. When Zed learned the forbidden techniques he released Calignos from his ancient prison. Calignos gave Zed his power in return for him becoming his new emissary. This is why in Zed's lore he screamed when killing his master because he didn't want to but Calignos forced him. Now let's talk about Nocturne. So Nocturne was Calignos's previous emissary but he wanted to be the Father of Darkness so he confronted Calignos and sealed him away but he was severely weakened and was only able to affect people in their dreams. As we all know Nocturne escaped and was then captured by the summoners. So when Calignos was released and he heard of Nocturne's escape he joined the League to get his revenge.

Abilities

Passive: Lights Out

Every 60 seconds Calignos's next auto attack will reduce the enemy teams vision for 2 seconds (think about Nocturne's ultimate).

Q: Blade of Nightmares (Passive)

Whenever Calignos kills a unit with an auto attack he puts a stack of nightmares on the nearest enemy champion (750 range) it will target a champion with a stack already on it if one is present. Each stack increases Calignos's next auto attack's damage on that target by 6%/8%/10%/12%/14% maximum of 3 stacks for 18%/24%/30%/36%/42% increased damage. If Calignos attacks a champion with three stacks it will also stun the target for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds.

W: Void Dash (Active)

Calignos becomes untargetable and dashes to an enemy champion (750 range) dealing 50/100/150/200/250 + 100% of ad in physical damage. This dash is treated as an auto attack and applies all on hit effects. Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds

E: Shadow Sweep (Active)

Calignos sweeps his blade in an arc in front of him dealing 25/50/75/100/125 + 125% of ad in physical damage and slowing all enemies hit by 15%/20%/25%/30%/35% for 2 seconds. Cooldown: 15/13/11/9/7

R: Darkness Incarnate (Active)

Calignos absorbs all of the darkness around him increasing his HP by 250/350/450, AD by 25/50/75, and automatically brings his passive back up. Last for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 150/125/100 seconds

The thing people don't get when making champions on the board is that if the kit doesnt flow its a shit champion.

Passive is unusable, Q's a crazy tool in lan,e but sucks in teamfights, W is way too strong and makes him untargetable for atleast half a second, E deals WAY too much damage and ult is too broken if it applies his passive on every hit and way too underpowered if it doesn't. Lore isn't anything special and removes the mystery of the lore that's already there. I'm not trying to sound harsh, but the kit doesn't work. There's only one combo and that combo's boring. Needs a lot of work to be fun to play.
