My Marksman Concept

Name: Brig - The stone slinger

Roll: Primary - Marksman Secondary - Fighter

Passive: Fight me anywhere Brig uses different weapons at different auto attack ranges each with different benefits. Sling - Massive auto attack range (651-700) but only 90% AD & 60% attack speed can be used. Slingshot - Regular ranged auto attacks (176-650) Mirror blade - Melee auto attacks with 110% AD and 110% attack speed, crits do less

Q: Hard Shot/Back off Brig’s next basic attack will have a bonus effect depending on which weapon he uses. Sling - The next auto attack will slow (50%) and reduce armor Slingshot - The next auto attack will slow(20%) and do aoe damage Mirror Blade - The next auto attack will knockback enemies in melee range

W - Magic Sling Brig sets 2 stones in front of him and makes a magic sling (like a jayce gate). His other abilities have special interactions with it. Any allies that dash into the sling are shot back the opposite direction. Only 1 sling may be active at a time. Enemies that attack the sling destroy it. Q - Brig charges up a shot in the magic sling. The longer the charge the further the range (Refer to Zac’s Elastic slingshot) Once he releases, it sends a rolling boulder in a targeted direction. The boulder can collide with terrain W - Brig takes back the sling, reducing the cooldown to 0 E - Brig bounces off the slingshot in the opposite direction a far distance. Can bounce over walls R - Allows Brig to cast Mega Boulder

E - Just a dash Brig dashes in a targeted direction. Dash goes further if moving towards enemy.

R - Mega boulder/Boom Brig uses his magic slingshot to fire a massive boulder down a path. It can bounce off terrain and upon casting Boom the boulder explodes dealing damage and Knocking back enemies from its center.

The idea behind this champ is that he uses disruption and mobility to fight enemies how he wants to. He can choose to go mele by using his Q to slow before dashing in, fight ranged by dashing into his magic sling and getting away, or use his sling and Q/W combo to poke from a distance. His ult is a great disruption tool but can be avoided, so good timing will be rewarded. Outranging pretty much everyone makes Brig pretty annoying in lane, but when it comes down to it he will have to get more involved in a fight if he wants to compete against the enemy adc. If mastered he can out maneuver and out damage his opponents significantly. Build would probably start off with Triforce. Best played either bot or top lane.

Here's what I think the lore for this character should be: Shuriman Got his sling from Taliyah That’s basically it

On release im thinking a star slinger Brig skin would look pretty awesome. (See cosmic Kassadin) I feel pretty good about everything in his kit except his ult. In the future I might change it up but let me know what you think!

Also fun fact: I couldn't think of a name for him so i just used my own.

My friend Shayden had a few notes I have been considering too:

Only have two options or nerf the crap out of the sling (50% damage, maybe less) Get rid of mirror blade entirely; gives him way too much utlility keep the sling and slingshot nerf slings damage to 50 keep Q (obviously mirror blade part removed) change one of the effects from reduced armor to something else, add variety like instead of slow, do bleed effect keep effect for sling for slingshot, remove those effects, instead do a bleed percentage this will allow him to slow with sling from afar then catch up and stack bleed damage (if it stacks) the magic sling is cool i would say get rid of the Q (the rolling boulder that is) nerf the W, make it reduced cooldown by 50% so that he cant just set it and reset it up the slingshot bounce mechanic is cool (especially for allies) the opposite direction mechanic is neat keep the utility tie in to cast his R so in a nutshell for the magic sling, get rid of the rolling boulder (its redundant and unnecessary utlity for an adc/marksman), nerf the CDR for the recall to at least 50%, keep the utility with the R the dash is fine for the E, a little boring, but most adc's have a boring dash leave the ult the way it is, clarify whether or not it damages champions while rolling, or not until it explodes maybe add in a gain speed effect like, as it rolls it gains speed or even neater, do the opposite, the longer it rolls, it loses momentum but if you cast boom when its still going fast, it deals more damage

(agree or disagree comment below)

Pretty much an extremely overloaded kit, which would definitely not be healthy for the game. Both the player, their enemy AND allies have to learn the exact ranges. I wouldn't see how it can work out.
