Kassadin: Harbinger vs Classic Skin

So ever since the New Kassadin update visually & mechanically, they have had to update his other skins AT THE TIME. At the time meaning every skin of Kassadin EXCEPT COSMIC REAVER but i will touch on that later.

---!!! Point 1: THE VISUAL UPDATE !!!--- Once they updated the skins during that time (more specifically his Harbinger Skin) it feels as if they half-a$#ed it and now it just looks as if it was just a re-colour of his classic skin... It is literally a re-coloured red and brown with a tad of different kinds of spikes shooting out of him. ...WHAT!?!? If anyone remembered the original Harbinger skin, it looked exactly like it's portrait; a full bada** suit.

---!!! Point 2: WHY WE LOVED ORIGINAL HARBINGER !!!--- Don't get me wrong, it is obvious that there is a lack of partials in the current skin and every other post I've seen is talking about how a 975rp skin such as this should have something to make it worth the 975rp...

BUT...

The original Harbinger Kassadin NEVER had anything fancy to begin with. The reason everyone bought it was because it LOOKED COOL AND DIFFERENT The way the skin looked itself made it worth the 975rp and no one complained.

---!!! Point 3: RITO'S CONCLUSION !!!--- So when the rework happened a short burst of people wanted to try the new Kassadin and concluded that he sucked and every stopped playing him. Rito basically low keyed how ugly the updated skins looked by making people stop playing Kassadin but that's not their conclusion.

Rito probably knew that the updated skins didn't look as great and so they came up with compensation. Along with the nerfed skins, a few months later they gave a new and improved BUFFED SKIN!

INTRODUCING... COSMIC REAVER KASSADIN!

and so Rito balanced out Kassadin's nerfed skins by giving him a brand new buffed skin!

THE PROBLEM IS HE GETS 1 EPIC SKIN THAT COSTS ALL THE MONEY BUT THEN PROCEEDED TO NERF AND IGNORE ALL OTHER SKINS WHICH EQUALS 4 OTHER SKINS! THAT'S A 1:4 RATIO! THE COST OF ALL 4 NERFED SKINS DOES NOT EQUAL THE SINS OF 1 EPIC SKIN! ...

---!!! Summary !!!--- In short Rito, sold out all of Kassadin's other skins for 1 brand new skin thinking that was enough compensation for ruining everything else. (But more specifically Harbinger Kassadin)

  • Make it look more like its original/portrait OR
  • Add partials as every other posts asks

Former Kassa main stopped playing like 2 yr ago, I loved this skin and used it 100% of the time. Saw it got and update, was scared, and rightfully so, this is a huge bag of barf chunks. He looks fat, with an oversized viking helmet. I preferred the sword that had the stars moving in it as you floated around. Riftwalk effect changed to look like he got shot by the gun from "honey I shrunk the kids" and then pops back to full size where he appears, I prefered that it looked like a teleporting jump through space like he'd walked through a portal or something. TLDR: Old skin (sleek, robotic, vader-esque) greater than New skin (viking helmet?, gained 50 lb?, sword that looks like something I could do in MS paint) Basically just stopped in to say its a bummer that this got changed at all, much less the skin being all but destroyed. At least the awesome artwork is still viewable.
