why do so many of the older-ish champions get forgotten like kled or kayn they havent seen much light i dont see the point giving garen a new skin since he has 2 nice ones and like 5 others and darius has a mythical and a legendary skin already my question stands why do some champions not have skins since realease atleast 1 more :<
Kled and Kayn are new champs. Darius came out WAYYYYYY before them. Darius is also played a lot more than Kled. Also Garen is an OG champ with a high play rate and win rate. This is how RIOT makes money DUHHHHHHHHHHH
It was explained a while back that the skins team doesn't have a quota to fill, and doesn't typically go around trying to make sure every champ has a skin.
What they do is think about cool ideas and then turn them into skins. This is why we can have something like Lux getting three good skins in a row, while other champions like Zac take forever. It's a philosophy that makes sense if you realize it's there, but doesn't necessarily feel great for players who enjoy the champions that are not being focused on.
If they don't have an idea for a skin for Kled or Kayn then they don't make a skin for Kled or Kayn.
I wouldn't call Kayn old. He just got released last year.
