WHAT IF riot came out with a aram style summoners rift. it would be a weekly random game. the way i am picturing it working is everyone gets auto locked in with a random champion AND a specific lane. they will have the option to trade with people in the lobby but they are not subjected to play the way they are in a normal aram. it would train players to learn new champs and also allow a quick surrender at 15 mins into the game. there would be re rolls accounted by the same way they are acquired now, by just playing. an example of this would be you join the game and get AUTO LOCKED AS MORGANA MID or AUTO LOCKED AS CHO GATH TOP its a very simple concept but it seems like a very fun game mode

No one would play it if they had to take the risk of playing a role they don’t like.

How are you suppose to lock a role? I mean even if im given the role "support" nothings gonna stop me from heading mid going dmg anyways

Just play blind pick and use the random pick, boom it's aram in SR.

They already did this, called it All Random Summoner's Rift. It sucked.

theres two issues i see in this:

If you are auto locked into a champ and role the only way for this to work is for Riot to only autolock certain champs into roles that fit the meta, and riot doesn't want to admit having a strict meta that discourages creativity within playstyles.
They don't do 1) and you basically get full on random champ random role. Lets say you get nami top and garen support, who's to stop teams from just going in game and not going to their autolocked role?

Also 3) because I can't count and don't want to go back and edit me saying two issues. Will all champs be available to get autolocked or is it just your champ pool + past 3 free champ rotations
