Virtual Reality

I was watching the LCS Spring Split matches and was imagining how cool it would be to watch the matches through really good VR. I was thinking it would be pretty amazing to roam around and/or even hover over the map. It would be incredibly immersive and similar to watching live sports but with way more possibilities because you can totally ignore physics.

I'm pretty sure Riot is thinking about Virtual Reality but probably more from a players perspective. That would be cool too but much harder to transition to. Building a fan experience seems easier on the user since you don't have to think about how to use flash again when you're distracted by all the cool surroundings. I would be more likely to play a VR version of LOL if I got to experience as an observer first.

Anyway, just thought I'd post this and see if anyone agrees.
