Players get a change to prove that they have ReFormed

I'm sure everyone in the community knows friends who has been toxic and inappropriate in their league games. Some of you may even know friends who have gotten banned for a week, 2 weeks or even permanently banned. Some of these players don't realize the harshness of the punishment riot can bring to your account.

Well, I happen to be that person. I was permanently banned for saying a bunch of stupid things that meant nothing to me at the time. I truly feel bad for the people that had to go through my behavior. I severely regret the hundreds of dollars I spent on the game only for it to go to waste. That's why I'm here to make a statement and tell anyone that exhibits toxic behavior to stop now, it will only get worse.

I feel like many people that have been permanently banned, didn't know the true punishment to behaving in such a way. I also feel that many perma-banned players have been reformed, myself included and want to continue playing League of Legends with their group of friends. I believe that Riot should unlock all permanently banned accounts starting fresh this new season. This will allow everyone to get a chance to reform and prove themselves on the Summoner's Rift.

Please consider unlocking permanently banned accounts this upcoming season. I'm sure the community will come together again.

Punishment in a nutshell: Chat Ban 1 Chat Ban 2 2 Week Ban Permanent Ban

When you land on permanent ban, you shouldn't be just then realizing the gravity of your behavior, not when your punishments have been escalating. The 2 Week Ban is your major warning to stop and reform yourself, not the permanent ban. If you ignored all of your punishments up until then, that's all on you.

I can't have any sympathy for people who have ignored all of the warnings about the danger up ahead and then get upset when they end up driving off a cliff.

But in order to get permanently ban you need to follow the tiers of punishment. How can you say someone wouldn't know the true punishment when they gotten it before numerous times. As others have stated as well they clearly tell you on your 14 day ban that the next one will be permanent. If that doesn't give you a wake up call along with all the punishment you gotten before I doubt anything will.

With that said. Riot already tried this at least twice. And both times the community (or at least the people they picked) didn't show any signs of reform. So despite all that why would a sudden change be made to have all permaban accounts unban when the community hasn't shown any signs of improving?
