Velkoz's theme could've been better fleshed out

I'm not going to come up with a whole new kit, but here are building block ideas for our knowledge seeking alien:


  • if Velkoz lands X skillshots, the next one applies:

  • adaptive debuff (ie. reduced mr on tank, slow on bruiser etc etc)

  • adaptive damage (ie. small fraction of ad if they built armour etc etc)

  • earns passive stacks of intelligence after taking damage. at X stacks:

  • gain an adaptive shield

  • dodge the next damage source (learning their attack patterns)

  • X number of required passive stacks reduced if velkoz lands skill shots

  • after successfuly clearing wards from the same location X times, replace it with a control ward (predicting ward patterns)


I could go on with this, but you get the idea right? obviously this has to be balanced, which is why I didn't put any numbers. Although some of these ideas might be broken, they are just IDEAS to get more ideas going ... I also think velkoz would be a lot scarier if he would walk on his legs like a frantic spider once in awhile (but not all the time)

Probably best to leave him how he is. In terms of buffs and needs received since his release. Vel'Koz is one of the most balanced mages in the game
