ZYRA - sakura skin concept + particles and splash

About a month ago I uploadet a sakura zyra skin concept, and it turned out that people liked the generel idea, but that they would prefer to see her in a sakura kimono (like the one Karma has) instead of her usual leaf bikini. So here is the total remake, hope you like it - constructive criticism is much appriciated :)

Absolutely love the plants too. The blossoms on her are spot on.

Not a fan of the hair, but I DO like the braiding thrown in there. Very cool. The hair pointed upwards and the stuff going outwards near her legs was a bit much for me personally.

I would want her to look more Japanese, honestly. Also think her green in her "kimono" should be more pastel, along with her pink coloration in the dress itself.

I agree on the Japanese thing (there are like no Asians in this game) and on the plants, the plants are the best part. The color palette is pretty good too. My only complain is the outfit. Way too much cleavage, way too short of skirt. Just make it a standard kimono for crying out loud. Or maybe a shorter kimono, like cut near the knees, like the male version, so she's not restricted in mobility, and some nice form fitting pants.

I also agree that the silhouette may not look very Zyra when implemented.

EDIT: If it wasnt clear, i was talking about how champs looked, not their actual ethnicity. You should all know there is no Asia in the game. I know that Ionia is thematically inspired by Asian culture, but no one from that region looks Asian to me. Ahri is the only Asian-looking champ, or at least she was before her splash update.

You can continue to argue with me if you want but i dont care and wont reply as i no longer care about race representation.

As long as we are being technical, The ninjas are Ionian.

Ahri is a Kumiho and therefore not human nor Asian.

Agreed with the kimono and paper umbrella, that'd be great. The skin is absolutely stunning, definitely would buy it in a heart beat, but my issue is that it seems you are wanting a more 'Geisha' feel to it, as Jamnon said about the kimono... which is an iconic Japanese/Asian symbol and also her hair... I love the design just not the color. Not anything against brunettes (I'm one myself, though it looks more black lmao...) But the color does not seem to... fit...? Hope you understood my kinda jumbled thoughts. I hope this happens though!!!

I love the plants and particle effects. The recall animation is a nice thought too.

My only criticism is that she has so much going on between the kimono, the hair, and the sleeves that she looks too departed from her classic silhouette and almost unrecognizable as Zyra.

Sakura Zyra doesn't really sound like it fits, but I like the idea. edit. The combination of these two names sounds stupid to me. That's what I meant, not that the skin doesn't fit her.

This could be a possible new Legendary skin, or if you go further and make a skin for each season, an ultimate skin. Imagine toggling between the 4 seasons, kinda like DJ Sona switching tracks, but instead of changing the music, what if it changed the ambiance? Spring = Birds chirping, Summer = idk a summer breeze?, Fall = crackling leaves, Winter = a howling snowstorm?

Just thought I'd put this out there.

With this idea this post gave me we'd be closer to having an Ultimate skin team. Ezreal - ADC Udyr - Jungle Sona - Support Zyra - Mid

Now I just gotta find a Top laner. XD

I love it, she's need some color in her skins (Red/green, brown, red/fire, human skin). I suggested to Riot Penguin on his stream a Rainforest/River Spirit themed skin akin to the colorful Nami skin but he shot it down :(
