Hello ! An idea got stuck in my head, so I had to post this. I would like to see a new champion in the game, so let's start. I think he could be midlane mage.

Story: I really did not think about this, I think something with Twitch could be good.

Look: A man with a hoodie and a long coat, we will not be able to see in his face. He will have a flute, of course. The hoodie and coat will be red color

Basic attacks: Mid-range attacks - Ratcatcher playing tunes on his flute.

Abbilities:

Passive: Catcher's control - Passive: Catcher's control - Damaging an enemy unit with a spell reduces their movement speed if they are facing away from you by 10% / 12.5% / 15%, lasting 1.5 seconds. 900 unit range. If Ratcatcher has gained 100 rats (in total), he gains bonus armor and magic resist. this will increase the more rats he has (100,200)

Q:(short CD) (skillshot) Mysterious flute - Ratcatcher will play a melody on his flute, dealing 40 / 55 / 70 / 110 / 145 (+40% AP) in magic damage to a target unit and 100 units around them with a range of 500 units. The area around the enemy unit increases by 3 units for each rat he has.

W: Revenge of the piper - Ratcatcher turns his coat and hoodie into green, instead of hunting rats, he is now hunting champions, killing a champion in this form will grant Ratcatcher health and mana.

E:(long CD) Move rats, move - Ratcatcher starts playing on his flute, increasing his movement speed and giving a little movement speed bonus to nearby allies.

R: Ratcatcher's last play - Ratcatcher will play a captivating melody on his flute, charming all nearby enemies within 350 units lasting 1.5. / 1.75 / 2.0 seconds, dealing 200 / 275 / 350 in magic damage. For every rat he has, he will deal an additioanal 1.5 magic damage. He loses 15% movement speed while playing.

I hope you like my idea, I will be happy for any kind of comment, thank you. :)

Please excuse mistakes.

Hmmm to be honest everytime i see a flute, all that comes to mind is Yasuo and it feels liek its his style that you were inspired from, its like a combination of Yasuo +Kassadin +Sona = Your champion but i gotta say that passive is really nice :o

Looks fine, but his passive is kind of situational, because you would have to pray for a CC ally when picking this champ, otherwise the passive would be useless. Also, I like your idea that he damages with a instrument, but it seems too similar to Sona. Other than that, it seems fine and has potential.

Overall, I like him, and instanly though of that legend when I read the details. I would make changes to his kit to really make him fit even better:

Passive: Catcher's control - Nearby allied crowd control lasts 1 sec. longer. Damaging an enemy unit with a spell reduces their movement speed if they are facing away from you by 10% / 12.5% / 15%, lasting 1.5 seconds. 900 unit range. If Ratcatcher has gained 100 rats (in total), he gains bonus armor and magic resist, increasing the more rats he has ** at 200. Caps at 200 captured rats.**

Also:

Q:(short CD) (skillshot) Mysterious flute - Ratcatcher will play a melody on his flute, dealing 40 / 55 / 70 / 110 / 145 (+40% AP) in magic damage to a target unit and 100 units around them with a range of 500 units. The area around the enemy unit increases by 3 units for each rat he has. the enemy that will get hit by this abillity, will be stunned and take damage, if he has 5+ rats at the moment, the enemy will be stunned for longer.

And:

W:(mid CD) (mana free) (skillshot like Kassadin's E) Ratcatcher's Pets - ** Passve: Everytime Ratcatcher ** gets a last hit on kills a minion, he gets one rat. 20% of the captured rats escape upon death. after he gains 10 rats, he can use this abbility that can hit multiple enemies. ** Active: Conic Area of effect - Enemies in a 30 degree, 400 unit range cone, will be dealt magic damage and the Ratcatcher well have true vision of them for 2.5 seconds.**

And then:

E:(long CD) Move rats, move - Ratcatcher starts playing on his flute, increasing his movement speed and giving a little movement speed bonus to nearby allies when moving towards enemy units. Gains additional speed against enemy units that has true vision on them. if ratcatcher has 15 + rats at the moment, the movement speed will be even bigger.

And lastly:

R: Ratcatcher's last play - Ratcatcher will play a captivating long melody on his flute, charming all nearby enemies within 350 units lasting 1.5. / 1.75 / 2.0 seconds, dealing 200 / 275 / 350 in magic damage. For every rat he has, he will deal an additioanal 1.5 magic damage. He loses 15% movement speed while playing. if he has 20+ rats at the moment, enemies will also take damage.

I basically made him a 'you will follow me and not escape, AOE' champ, as reflective of his legend inspiration. My only issue is making sure there is clear audio difference when casting spells to avoid confusion.

I know it looks like I did a complete (and hopefully not unnecessary) overhaul, but how do you feel about those changes/additions?

Thanks for your posting.
