New AP support champion concept
An AP ranged support champion that utilizes its skill to lock multiply enemies in place (with Q), high risk and high reward play (W and R), and an ability to partially nullify shields and tankiness (E). This champion promotes aggressive game play throughout all phases of the game (Q, W, R), and split-second decisions to either help your team engage or disengage (R).
Passive – Weaker Statik Shiv’s 100 charge ability.
Q – Skillshot If you hit an enemy, do damage and this ability goes on 1s CD and gain:
- Self-cast to reactivate to pull you and enemy towards each other to do damage and stun (similar to Nautilus hook) OR
- A second skillshot, if hit an enemy, immediately pull both enemy towards each other to do damage and stun (similar to Lux and Bard’s double bind?)
If no re-cast, then skill goes on CD after X time.
Note 1: After hitting an enemy with the initial skillshot, this ability becomes a self-casting ability and a skillshot ability. Click on self to re-activate for (1).
W – You gain charges when near enemies. When enemies cast spells around you or hit you spell spells, it will charge faster. At 100 charges, you can activate skill to consume all charges to shield yourself or an ally. Also do AOE damage and slow enemies round target.
Note 1: Longer CD to prevent perma slow that’s reminiscent of old Skarner.
Note 2: This skill promotes figher-esque nature of this champion.
E – A delayed long ranged AOE spell. When you hit enemies, remove a portion (scaling %) of enemy shields, and de-buff armour and MR.
Note 1: An uninteresting spell idea, but it combo’s a bit with Q, W and R.
R, ultimate – You throw a staff at target location for X duration. You can click on and channel (immobilize self) the staff with a 0.5s delay. You can break the channel at any time (to run away or re-channel at a different position around the staff). Enemies can interrupt your channel with CCs at any time or break the staff after 5-7? hits.
When the staff lands on enemies, it greatly slowing them for 0.1s and do initial damage(?).
While channeling, friendlies gain MS while moving towards the staff. Enemies lose MS and halves (scaling per upgrade?) the distances of dashes/gap closers that moves away from the staff. In addition, do DoT damage to enemies while channeling(?).
Note 1: This skill’s CD decreases per upgrade to give this champion the ability to chase or disengage/kite over an extended period of time.
Note 2: Allowing this champion to channel and re-channel the staff at any time gives this champion the ability to choose to be vanguard of an engagement or potentially sacrifice itself to dis-engage/kite for your team.
