Gifting Skinshards and Championshards to a friend?

What about allowing the players to gift one of their skin/championshards to their friends? Or even traiding them? And I do not think of being able to gift all your champion shards which you do not need onto your smurf, no. I would execute it like this: For special events you get one "permission point" (name still in development) and you can spend it to gift ONE shard to your friends/smurfs/aliens. These "special events" would be something like christmas, valentines day, halloween, april 1st and so on. That way it could be not that easy to abuse and it would be something special! :D
