Terhes - The Arbitrator (Fan Made Champion)
So I had a little extra time creating a champion and I wanted to go like full in with the details So I did, but it seems like I went into too much compared to the others. I had the mentality of thinking if I had a lot of info already though out, then I would think I have a better chance of one of my champions being actually one the roster. So I put a lot of into it and I appreciate it so much if you guys could review this depth champion and tell me what needs to be better. I tried to balance it, but there is a good chance of him being too op or to under powered. But that's what the community is for right?
Name: Terhes - The Arbirator Primary Role: Mage

Story: Terhes was nothing but a wander with his traveling family in Demacia. The family would rather see all the sights of Demacia while doing random jobs to get by in life. It gave them more meaning toward their life by doing a different chore each day and completing it with hard work. Terhes was no different from his family; he knew that a mountain of hard work pays of with satisfaction or money sooner or later.
While traveling throughout Demicia, he often heard of the conflict between two well known sisters whose names are Kayle and Morgana. The two sisters battled against each other on what they would believe in. It was more than just a sibling rivalary; it was an all-out war from the point the sisters' made their defining choice in the past. It became even more apperant when the hometown felt lit was being devided between the two sisters. The parents of the two sisters was tired of the never ending war they created and wanted the two to bury the hatchet. Prideful and determined though, the two sisters didn't back down not even to make their parents happy. The parents grew weary and desprate for a solution and it came to a point of time where they were willing to hire a warrior and give them some “tough love” in order to try to get them to cope. As days pass though, warriors were interested but none was brave enough. It was indeed the strong willed that can do anything and Terhes was that strong willed man.
Though proud of his courage, the parents were uncertain about this proposal. Though to be fair the proposal they made to the public was questionable, but now, the one who is finally accepting the proposal is deemed even more questionable. How could a young man wth a small body frame who has no experience in battle possibly do well in the Fields of Justice? Having no one else to turn to, they reluctantly agreed to the situation and took the young man into their home. From that day and onward, Terhes took up the role as a mage studing both the light and dark magic much like Kayle uses light and Morgana uses the dark. This job was the hardest one yet but it had a simple premise he could work with---show the world that even the most opposing and conflicted forces can work together for a greater good.
Move Set:
Passive: Glyphic Harmony
Sometimes when Terhes auto attacks the target, the auto attack will leave a white or black glyph on the target for 5 seconds. If he happens to match the desired power with the right glyph with one of his abilities, the glyph will trigger and produce an added effect; however getting it wrong will make the glyph disappear.
Landing a light powered ability with a white gylph, the target will be blinded with light reducing sight range down to 500 at max for 2.5 seconds.
Landing a dark powered ability with a black glyph, the target will be retreating in fear away from Terhes for .75 seconds.
Q: Unstable Reaction Cost: 55 Mana Range: 550 / 300 Speed: 200 Cooldown: 12
Terhes produces a square of orbs on each corner (2 light and 2 dark) around the target. The orbs than move toward the target and combines the four of them together. After a second of being combined forcefully, the orbs cause an unstable reaction of light and dark that explode damaging enemies in the 200 circular range.
The orbs by themselves deals 35 / 50 / 65 / 80 / 95 (+ 35% of your AP) magic damage while the unstable reaction deals 55 / 80 / 105 / 130 / 155 (+50% of your AP).
Notes:
- The orbs don't damage as they appear. They only damage when they are moving.
- The same orb cannot hurt you more than once, but you can get hit by different orbs.
- The damaging of the explosion can damage enemies even before the graphics of the explosion can reach them.
W: Change of Heart Cost: 60 Mana Range: 600 / 200 Speed: 1200 Cooldown: 10
Terhes throws an arc of dark energy ahead of him that damages all enemy champions in the line ahead of him for (80 / 105 / 130 / 155 / 180 + 45% of your AP). At the end, it will change direction and the color from black to white, and return to Terhes while shilelding allied champions on the way back for (45 / 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 + 35% of your AP) for 2 seconds. If Terhes runs into the arc when it comes toward him, he will automatically absorb the energy to grant him a flat movement boost of 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 that lasts two seconds along with the shield.
Notes:
- When the arc of energy starts to changes colors when getting ready to change direction, it does both effects to the designated targets.
E: Alignment Shift Cost: 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 Mana Range: 700 to 1400 / 250 Speed: 1400 Cooldown: 16 / 15 / 14 / 13 / 12
Terhes concentrates as he builds up a piercing bolt of light energy to throw straight ahead dealing 50 / 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 (+45% of your AP damage) and slowing enemy units by 20% / 22.5% / 25% / 27.5% / 30% . By holding the charge longer, the spark turns darker and it increases the damage (maximizes at 85 / 120 / 155 / 190 / 225 (+60% of your AP), distance, and the slow (up to 40% / 45% / 50% / 55% / 60%). It takes at least 2 seconds to fully power the move and he can channel the move for 4 seconds before cancelling the move. While charging the move, his movement speed is reduced by 25%.
Notes:
- The cooldown starts as he releases the shot; not when he starts the move.
R: Inner Conflict Cost: 100 Mana Cooldown: 130 / 115 / 100
Terhes will send a shockwave to 800 distance around him. Once the shockwave hits any enemy champions, it will track those champions for 2 seconds. Once that resloves, a target will appear on the ground and after a brief 1.5 second delay, a light of judgement ray will crash onto the target and cause a 275 shockwave causing anywhere from 150 / 250 / 350 (+65% of your AP) to 200 / 375 / 550 (+ 80% of your AP) depending how close you are to the ray. Once it hits the ground, dark energy would be released in the shockwave zone from the tremors causing 25 / 35 / 50 (+5% of your AP) magic damage per second for 5 seconds.
Notes:
- If a champion is standing in a location where the two shockwaves would meet, it does NOT increase the damage.
Tips and Tricks:
- Terhes needs to be positioned well for a team fight and also needs to plan ahead. His lack for an escape move plus his awkward move set makes it a little difficult to do max damage. But once you hit the sweet spot, you will do massive damage.
- Terhes is a mage with long distance attacks that can poke down his targets. Be aware though his mana costs can be quite consuming so poke efficiently if possible.
- Keep an eye on his passive. If you have quick fingers, you can wait for a stun and unload the enemy champion with your spells.
Synergy and Counters:
Good synergy with the following champions:
- Morgana: Even a rival can have good synergy. Morgana's Q when landing on a champion roots them still for a long time. It helps Terhes a lot giving him time to land his moves down. Her W can also be placed on top the shockwaves for the ult to really increase the damage to all who walk on it. The E is helpful to give some tankiness and help him not be cc'ed to death.
- Amumu: The sad mummy helps maximize damage with his passive reducing MR to all foes he attacks. The main kick is his ult. Using it in a spot where the most marked champions stay together is beneficial for maximum damage. Wait till the beam is about to ray down on them and use his ult to lock them in for the damage. Your opponents will be salty that's for sure.
- Galio: The gargoyle does a good job fending off assassins if he is near Terhes. His ult helps you don't have to worry about stealth as it goes away when you auto attack someone. While he's channeling his ult, you can burst targets down with ease. His W also helps you survive in a pinch by giving you both armor and magic resist.
Countered by the following champions:
- Irellia: She counters Terhes in a unique way. Terhes will have a hard time landing a blow if she's not cc'ed due to a hard move set to learn and her having a dash move. However, the more outnumbered Irellia is, the more tenacity she has (which means less time she'll be cc'ed). So no matter what battle it is, as long as Irellia is there, she counters him.
- Olaf: Good luck to get away from an enraged Olaf. Oh too bad, cause its not going to happen. He's immune to any crowd control and gets a small movement boost during the start. Even with him landing only of his Q on you is almost certain death. The best choice is to get closer to your party and hope they can burst him down. -Kha'zix: Any assassian with stealth and a leap is bad for Terhes, but Kha'zix is the worst for him. Not only he has the following, but he can reuse his leap if he defeated a champion or even assisted with it, so he can leap back to safety. He can also become stealthed multiple times on his ultimate which can make targeting him harder then necessary.

Did You Know:
- Terhes was supposed to be a half-brother angel that had both black and white powers. Upon making the story however, it was changed for him to be an ordinary human to make the story fit better. The Lone Angel skin was reborn to fit that original idea.
- Terhes wears a different color glove for his hands which are white on his right and black on his left. The reason why is that an urban legend once claimed that all people who were left handed were claimed to be evil and malicious.
Again, I appreciate it so much cause this is a lot of info to take in. Like I said, I had the mentality of the more info, the better I had the chance of making my champion on the roster. Terhes is supposed to be a poker mage much like Xerath, Ziggs, Velkoz, etc so I gave him a lot of damage but I tried to balance it where he uses a lot of mana during the early game and having little CC and escape. He's the character that does tons of damage when played right. Hard to master, but powerful when fully mastered.
Thank you so much. I feel like a lot of people will just not answer because there is a lot of info to go through. But any reccommendations or changes will vastly help on my next champion creations in the future. :D :D :D
and
are apart of it. Can't wait to see what happens when Terhes stops both of them :o
Crescendo,
Ult and more. (those are the 2 that come to mind). Also the name Guardian Angel doesn't really fit the effect of the passive. (Plus we have an item called Guardian Angel already.
)
's Orb of Deception +
