Recently i opened up a hextech chest and i received Red Baron Corki. I was super excited because that was my first Legendary skin ever. But I was less excited when I saw that there weren't any particle effects or anything, just a texture on the base model. I was wondering if there were any plans to give a visual update to skins such as The Magnificent Twisted Fate, Blood Lord Vlad, or like I said before Red Baron Corki?
blood lord vlad has actual particles and new sounds, doesnt need to be updated like the other 2 you mentioned
i agree with this very much. i got annie in wonderland and i was like this looks cool but all that changes is tibbers looks like a bunny molester
They have stated there are no plans to update these older retired legendary skins. That is why they retired them.
They rejected this a while ago. There was once a massive movement and thread on how to make The Magnificent Twisted Fate stellar with great suggestions such as Mystic Box for his ult.
Riot rejected updating outdated skins.
I personally own Red Baron Corki and Alien Invader Heimerdinger, it feels real bad to actually use them.
Personally think that Corki needs a VGU anyways, so they could get away with updating his skins, especially Red Baron and Ice Toboggan.
I agree! I was very upset when I used 1520 orange essence to get Annie In Wonderland, because I was super excited to get a legendary Annie skin, but I was really upset that it didn't have any changes to it. I think if they aren't going to update it, that they should lower the pricing of it in Hextech.
You can only hope for a VGU like the one Galio got. I think Corki is actually on the rework list.
If they can update Pulsefire Ezreal then they sure can update outdated legendary skins like Gentleman Cho'gath, Demonblade Tryndamere.
It has unique sound effects, so it does have something. But still... yeah. It could offer a little more for being a legendary.
