Is Darius based on Darius III?

Well I actually just finished a history project on said Achaemenid Empire and I assure you Darius III wasn't a op ax murderer in top lane.

Darius lll was a weakling. He ran from Alexander The Great multiple times, even leaving his family behind in his fright. No, there is no way shape or form they got Darius, The Hand of Noxus, from that coward. However, if you will look into Darius The Great (Darius l) I think you'll find a connection that is vastly more true. Look him up in wiki, he even quelled an Ionian revolt in the first year or so have his reign. (If you know something about the history of Noxus and Ionia here, it definitely leaves you nodding your head)

Darius III was more Ezreal than Darius. He just kept arcane shifting back after getting his ass whooped by Alex The G.O.A.T.
