Champ Idea: Dune, the Forgotten Soldier.

DISCLAIMER: The AD ratios and stuff like that are off the top of my head; if you guys can think of something more balanced I'm happy to hear it. I was primarily thinking of his abilities from a mechanical perspective rather than the nuts and bolts of ratios so don't go nuts if you see something that you think is cancerous.

Lore: Dune is a soldier without a war to fight anymore. Coming from a far away land with technology unlike anything Runeterra has seen, Dune joined the League because he needed something to do. Nobody knows his real name, the land he came from, or how his weapons are so powerful, but they know one thing: The Reaper doesn't discriminate.

"Never send a soldier to do a Reaper's job..." -Dune when being selected.

Passive: Nanobots

1.) Dune is cloaked within a 270 degree area behind his target. Stealth is re-obtained by vision being lost on Dune. 2.)Auto attacks break stealth. 3.) Channeling his Ult does not, but firing it does. 4.) Autos while cloaked are a guaranteed crit. 5.) His respawn timer is 50 percent faster and has increased health regen per level. 6.) Wards break stealth. 7.) Attacking from brush does not break stealth but applies a debuff to range on all abilities except Reaper's Howl.

Q: Crackshot

1.) Dune draws his sidearm and fires three shots in a line. 2.) The first shot, if cloaked, crits for 200 percent plus 25% of AD. 3.) If a shot kills its target stealth is not broken and half mana is refunded. 4.) Within 100 units of a champion while cloaked, Crackshot becomes "Execute"

Execute: Fires a single, silenced shot that deals the same amount of damage as Crackshot in true damage. Execute's range is halved while in brush, and you can only use Execute a champ that's OUTSIDE of brush.

W: Scythe

1.) Dune cripples his target with a blade strike 2.) Cloaked strikes hit for 250 percent of AD (can stack with IE) and attacks from brush hit for 275 percent AD. 3.) Uncloaked strikes hit for 125 percent of AD. 4.) Strikes from within Dune's stealth cone also slow by 80 percent for 1.5 sec. and cause bleeding. 5.) Damage scales with Armor Pen.

E: Vault

1.) Dune vaults over terrain, a minion, or small monster (tiny Krug, tiny wolves, tiny raptors, etc) 2.) Cannot auto during a vault or for .25 sec after vaulting. 3.) Can use Crackshot during or directly after a vault. 4.) Can consecutively vault over friendly minions up to three times. 5.) Cannot vault through champions. 6.) While vaulting, Dune's W becomes "Descend".

Descend

1.) Dune leaps down on his target for a blade strike while vaulting. 2.) Applies Scythe's slow (80%) for one second. 3.) Does not apply bleeding. 4.) Hits for 150 percent of AD. 5.) Successful hits grant a movement speed buff.

R: Reaper's Howl

1.) Dune fires a perfectly crafted round from his rifle after charging up for 2.5 seconds. 2.) The shot is global. 3.) The shot gains damage and velocity as it travels, dealing true damage after a certain distance. 4.) Deals percent max health damage. 4.) The shot penetrates though all minions, super minions, and champions it touches. 5.) The shot loses velocity and damage for each champion it hits. 6.) Penetrates EVERYTHING (Wind Wall, Braum Shield, Taric Ult, EVERYTHING) and cancels blocking abilities. 7.) Can't rush perfection; unaffected by CDR. 8.) The first level for Dune's ult gives him 1 round and each level after gives him 2 rounds. Each level does not stack, so you can have up to two rounds at any given time once you hit Level 11.

Competition Passive: Sniper's Challenge

Similar to The Hunt with Rengar and Kha'Zix, but with Dune and Caitlyn since they're both snipers.

When a Caitlyn and Dune are on opposite teams, Sniper's Challenge kicks in once both players unlock their Ultimate (Reaper's Howl/Ace in the Hole). If Dune kills Caitlyn with his Ult, he gains her scope and loses his range debuff while in brush. If Caitlyn kills Dune with HER ult, she gains a recipe for how to make his perfect Howl Rounds (Serrated Dirk + Last Whisper + 100 Gold), and their penetration capability for abilities and champions is applied to Ace in the Hole.

So yeah, that's my idea for Riot's next champ. A champ that can kick major ass in huge doses but you need to know when and how to kick dat ass. Tell me what y'all think!

This sounds like a pretty good champ design. Some parts sound a little like Jhin because of the ult but the going through champs,Braum shield and Yasuo wall seem kinda broken. But yeh it seems pretty cool :)

Personally, I think the ult has already had the niche filled to the max.

Q is Very interesting

his Passive is way too overloaded

Is he melee or ranged?

looking at this kit. the only thing salvagable is the Q, E and Passive (Parts of it)
