League club at my college

Hello everyone :)

Lately I been feeling like an outcast since I don't have many friends at school. I spend most of my time outside of school just playing League of Legends but I really want to make some new friends who share the same interest. I've looked online to see if there are any gaming cafes around me and the only place is about 30 minutes away. I also found out some local high schools have League clubs and I checked out my community college to see if we had a club but the only game related club we have is for Smash. So I want to creating a League of Legends club at my community college. I never organized or managed a club in my life so I'm super nervous to start it. Also that it will fail and nobody will show up because either they won't hear about it or there aren't enough League players at my school. So I'm here today to ask for any advice or encouraging words.

ask for help from the college. Any college worth its merit has a student resource center where students can go and ask for advice on making clubs. if your campus has a pc lab with high end computers that'd be the place to start with for meets. most students wont have a pc capable of running league because when you go to college you buy a cheap 300 dollar laptop for microsoft office and that's about it.

they should give you information about locations for posting advertisements (which you'll need to make flyers)

a way to send out an email or something to the student body

and other stuff.

if you want to start a club though you'll need to consider the equipment and the space needed.
