The Picture next to your summoner icon when you look at your profile has all ways been the same. just some wixard holding some lightning boring right. so i think it should have different pictures too! like sum icons, so you can mix and match sum icons and (profile splash art) <- it should be called that :)
Yep. It's called a profile banner. Ultimate skin icons will change the banner, but other than that it's the boring old summoner banner. I want to be able to change it without needing to equip an Ultimate icon.
I hope Riot reworks the whole profile menu some day. I'm sure more banners will come along once they do that. Otherwise the only alternative is to get an ultimate skin and put on the icon so your menu looks nicer.
