Champion Mastery

Dear Riot,

League of Legends is a fun game that I enjoy very much so. Only problem I have is that you can only earn champion mastery points in Summoners Rift 5v5s ranked team, solo/duo queue, and casual. Some people like myself really enjoy playing Twisted Treeline 3v3s ranked team and causal. Sadly if we do decide to play this game mode we do not earn mastery points and do not get the enjoyment of this cool feature. I would appreciate seeing this feature implemented in 3v3s because some people only play 3v3s and do not get to enjoy this.

Time. GIve. It. Time. They have many things they are working on, the mastery system was a big one and takes a lot of data into it inorder to calculate what it gives after a match, so they can't just enable it right away, they have to spend the time building the proper set up for it. And they've said it may be on other maps in the future... so, just give it time. 2016 has a ton of new things coming up anyway as the promo site points out, so they are doing what they can.

No, it's more like impatience. Riot already knows people want it in other modes, so you just have to give it time instead of constantly creating more and more threads.

Actually the mastery point system went live in May 6th, and we have not received any word on any attempt of trying to implement this into 3s. We are just trying to draw attention to it. People like myself only really play 3v3s and its really unfair for a separate game mode to not get as much attention. We just wanted to draw attention here and see if we can get any word from Riot about them even thinking about it. So you can stop trying to be rude at least.

They have said right in it's launch that it would only be available initially on SR and that other modes would be possible in the future. So, yeah you are being impatient and clearly not paying attention to the information that has been given.

SR is the major focus of the game afterall, so that's why it was implemented there when it was. They will also have to build the back end up differently inorder for it to even calculate the numbers needed to give out proper points on any other mode since there are various things that go into what it gives out and not everything is the same for each map.

And if you think this is RUDE, you really don't have the slightest idea how to have a discussion.

Yea. They said it since launch and we haven't gotten any word on it. So all we are trying to do is draw attention to it. Its been almost half a year since the mastery point system was released, and since then we haven't gotten any word on it. Didn't realize that waiting half a year was impatient. For a big 3v3 player it would be a nice little feature to have word on, or even something exclusive to Twisted Treeline.

As stated by Riot here: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/na/site/2016-season-update/champion-mastery.html they say they are trying to add more to the champion mastery such as getting keys and chests to be able to unlock it and earn a range from 7-day rentals to permanent skins. So obviously they are thinking elsewhere in the half a year. All we are trying to do is allow the 3v3 players to have the same benefit as the 5v5 players. We understand that it was supposed to start on SR but it has been long enough. If they are thinking of new ideas then they are probably not planning on putting it in for other game modes.

Riot is probably worried that on 3s people would have an easier grind for the level 5. They should lower the amount of mastery points you get in 3s but I would like to see it added in. And add a mini thornmail! Auto Attack champs op op

This is something I agree with, you are playing the same champion so you should get mastery points for it.

I agree, If we are playing them and learning the champions. It shouldn't matter what map we are playing in. So many champions, I could've had to level 5 and nope nothing, just because I like to play Twisted Treeline.
