Zilean Skin Idea
Hello friends! I believe my exaggerated devotion to Zilean grants me some say in new ideas for him. I have almost 65k champion points on Zilean alone and am a fan of his skins, owning blood moon, time machine, and groovy Zilean. However, I feel there's something missing, something that could just blow Zilean's lore up into reality. So, according to his lore (at the moment), he suffers from a condition that renders him capable of experiencing all events as if they were happening at once, such a similar case as Dr. Manhattan from the Watchmen. So, I throw you two ideas! One being a reference to the Watchmen and specifically Dr. Manhattan (not really fond of pitching that one out, it's kinda bland), or one much more sinister that displays the grief of Zilean if his condition is left untreated. I was thinking, does that mean Zilean exists in every second of time? And what does he look like to everyone else?
A skin could be made (most likely legendary) that adds a flickering effect on Zilean, as if he is passing in and out of the present existence itself? I came up with the idea on the spot and haven't looked into too many details, but I'm just throwing the foundations out there. So basically a skin that adds a flickering or fading effect to Zilean, perhaps making parts of his body completely disappearing and reappearing? I have thought not of a replacement for his big ol' clock, but perhaps it can still be a giant clock that changes time periods, such as a Big Ben styled clock to represent the 1800's, a primitive needle/shadow clock to represent the earliest of time, and even a modern digital clock? I leave that up to you guys.
On to his abilities! Since his passive is no longer global, why not add that same flickering/fading effect to allies, but as an effect around them or over their heads? Not much to wonder about on this one.
Q- Every second that passes while the time bomb is ticking it can change time periods, starting from modern, shifting to 19th century, and finally primitive? And for the explosion, how about a tear-in-space-and-time sort of effect, one just completely messy and garbled with a lot of black and grey textures? (Still trying to think up a better explosion effect XD) and P.S. how about a quote for landing both bombs and stunning the target, where he says something generic like "Your time is up!"?
W- Not sure what effect could replace its current one, but maybe a quote from Zilean as he activates it commenting on his mistake of messing with time?
E- Corny snide comment to accompany a new effect, such as a reddened rippling effect for enemies and a bluer effect for allies? Corny snide comments may include Sonic the hedgehog references, namely, "You're too slow!" (Seriously, how much more BM could Zilean get if he had those lines?)
R- In terms of replacing the hourglasses, I'm not sure. Perhaps each one representing different times once again, but maybe instead having something way cooler; i.e. an easily visible blackish rip in the fabric of the universe that follows the ally around and instead of having a guardian angel effect, the champion will fall into said rip in time and after some time will reappear out of another rip in time that is opposite to the first? Again, I need help with these extra voice lines, I'm not good at coming up with those.
