Another champ idea
Right, so my idea is a new mid lane mage/assassin, called Yip, king of the swamps(named inspired by Bunyip, Australian aboriginal monster of lakes and ponds).
Design: Yip is an ape shaped creature covered in wet moss, to the point where the only thing certain is his shape. Think yorick crossed with Zac, that's what im trying to get at.
Skins: Pure Yip, essentially a cleaned version, revealing more about what he is.
Lore: Vague at this point, but revolves around the idea that after Yip got his first taste of human after one drowned in his swamps, he developed a craving for more, and crawled to the surface and joined the league in search of human flesh.
Abilities:
Passive: Thirsty armor: With every Champion kill or assist, Yip gains 20 Armor and MR for 3 seconds. This stacks up to 3 times.
Q: Grab from the depths: Yip digs into the ground, channeling for 1 second before striking upwards, slowing and dealing damage in a circle to all enemies hit.
W: Terror of the Moss: Yip grabs a target enemy, reducing the target's vision while stunning them for 1 second. This spell pulls Yip towards the target. Yip cannot be interrupted during this spell.
E: Passive: Hungry Moss: Killing a unit adds a stack of Hungry Moss. At 150, 250 and 350 stacks, Yip gains bonus attack range , health, and AP.
R: King of the Swamp. Yip descends into his swamp, becoming untargetable. He blinks to a target location, reappearing while snaring and damaging all enemies in the AoE. Yip instantly gains a stack of Thirsty Armor after casting.
Yip is a late game assassin, capable of initiating fights with King of the Swamp and staying alive with Thirsty Armor. He would have a relatively high skill cap, with good lane mechanics needed to stack Hungry moss. His laning phase would be relatively weak compared to other mid laners, but he also responds well to ganks with Terror of the moss and Grab from the depths.
