Letter from a Veteran Player

Hello Riot Games,

I have been a loyal player for a good 5-6 years, praise to be Faker. My average ranking, along with many other friends, is a very high Bronze I to Silver IV. I know you must be surprised that such a high ranking player would be writing you this letter, but an issue has come to my attention that I cannot overlook. I, alongside with many other league players, like to have fun in this game. When most players go top, they are not attempting to play a champion for the "team", WE want to carry the game from the island we are forced to sit on, so we play champions like nunu, asstrox, and yasuo (of course). But, I have recently seen the rewards for achieving the high ranking of Gold V. Now, I know this only affects the few players that achieve such a ranking, but I am one of those elites. Since I am a respected veteran in the community I assume my words carry much weight, so I have one question Riot Games. Who in their right mind chose to make the reward a Maokai skin. Like cmon, tell me who you know that is walking around saying "YES FINALLY MAOKAI SKIN FOR GETTING GOLD!" I appreciate the effort put forth on this skin, but tell me where the Nunu skin is at? Maokai and Nunu do the same thing, make the enemy team useless, but Nunu just does it 10x better. Now, I know this may sound unappreciative, but all I can say is I think I deserve something of value for my journey through the valley of death. To give you a little insight into my gaming career, I began by playing backyard baseball in 2003. That's when I was introduced to my hero, my mentor, my idol, Pablo Sanchez. Have you seen his stats Riot Games? Speaking of Pablo Sanchez, for a new champion concept, you should create a baseball player who can one-shot all players at anytime as long as you scream his name into a mic. This would require a mic and a voice system update to the game but like cmon I know the infamous Riot Games is capable. Back on topic though, Maokai is an unacceptable reward and I would truly appreciate it if you would cater to the needs of the few elite players that have reached Gold and beyond. And I'm not saying if I happen to get this skin I'm only going ap mid and feeding my ass off, but that is in your hands Riot Games.
