New Champion Creation (With League of Legends Players)

Hello there pals. One day I got an idea. Maybe its not idea, but thats not the points.

What I tought is. There are many amazing new champions whom are fun to play, look great. But what jumped in my head is. Does Riot let players join in champions creation. I never heard or seen it (I might be wrong). But wouldn't it be amazing if riot let in whole LoL community in joining in one champion creation. Of course this would take alot of time and effort to read all people ideas. But that would give riot + karma points kek. What I have in mind. Riot could let us in on newest champion creation(would like it to be AP MID).

[Tho gotta say I haven't read if there was post like this, I'm sorry if there was and I'm like reposting it.]

They could make a discussion or some other link that would lead us to site where we could write:

  1. Champion Name.
  2. How does he look.
  3. Q/W/E/R Skill names, what they would do. (4. Some people might be able even to think of some kind background story for champion.)

Of course we would have to leave damage/mana cost/movement speed and everything else to a riot devs.

To be honest it would be nice to see something new by people who plays this game.

Champion could be chosen by votes. Or riot itself.

Would be nice to get an opinion of someone who works in riot itself :).

And feel free to say what you think pals.

Good luck in upcoming URF. AND IM OUT BOIS [slayer-jinx-catface]

Usually people make individual posts about their champion creations! I'm sure staff will occasionally look at posts like that, but based on comments from different rioters they seem to already secretly have tons of champion ideas already being explored. So it's unlikely they will take a champion idea from the boards, although they might take certain themes or mechanics from the boards.

But, for the sake of entertaining this post, I'll go ahead and post a champion idea.

I've wanted a champion who has a totem-type theme, as well as an elderly champion (all the champions act or actually are pretty young, I know some are canonically very old but not many actually fit an elderly appearance). I'm far too lasy to come up with a detailed lore but I do have a bit of gameplay.

As such, I came up with this idea for a champion: Backstory: She is a now-widowed woman, but the grief of her husband passing (he passed away in the military of Demacia) caused her to so grief struck she decided to leave Demacia, and instead moved out into a forest near the outskirts of Demacia to grieve in peace. She researched various magic rituals and enchantments in an effort to bring him back, which of course is/was illegal in Demacia, but she hid her practice well. Eventually she called her husbands spirit from beyond the grave, and stored his soul in a totem (don't worry, he wasn't distraught to be ripped from the afterlife, he was happy to be reunited with his wife). Of course, its hard to hide the fact that a soul is being kept in a magical totem, and eventually she was forced to run from Demacia when she was caught. She now lives deep in the forest, singing and dancing the days away with her loving husband.

Passive: She has a totem, and it modifies and effects all her abilities. If the totem is placed (her ultimate), it can be reactivated when away to relingquish her energy and become one with the Q: She lifts her cane and swipes it, stumbling and slowing herself by 99% decaying over .25 seconds as she swings, but stunning any units struck (and dealing damage, of course). If she strikes a wall, the sound echos beyond the wall, revealing the area beyond the wall as well as revealing any units beyond the wall, even if invisible. Using the ability without choosing a cone direction will instead cause her to strike the ground, revealing any units nearby (such as in bushes next to her, slightly increases vision radius briefly similar to Quinn's vision ability but does not go through walls, only if the wall is struck).

If she has her totem, she strikes the totem instead of the ground, dealing damage in an area around her as well as revealing nearby enemies. If the revealed area has her totem in it, it will unleash the damage area around itself.

W: She lifts her cane, slowing by 50% for up to 1 seconds. While in this state, she will fully block any attack coming from a target direction. If she blocks an attack, her movement reduction is removed and she stops blocking. This ability has a very low cooldown (I'm thinking around 3 seconds with 20-30% CDR), allowing her to continuously be slowed but to block basic attacks and projectiles from champions. This ability can be reactivated to end the blocking and movement speed reduction early. Not blocking an ability adds 1 second to the cooldown of this ability, regardless of CDR. If she blocks a melee basic attack, she will block the attack and knock the enemy back slightly, stunning them for .25 seconds.

If she has her totem, blocking an ability will cause her husband to spawn next to the enemy and slash at them in rage, dealing magic damage based on bonus AD as well as AP. He then disappears. His spawn and slash are telegraphed, but it should be difficult to avoid the slash unless a mobility spell is used. If the enemy champion is within the totem's area of effect, he will spawn and damage them as well.

E: She channels for several seconds while chanting for a spell. After the channel, all her abilities are replaced by new abilities for one use: using Q will cause her cane to be empowered with a magical fire. Basic attacking a unit will ignite them, dealing magic damage per second. However, subsequent basic attacks will greatly increase the flame, causing the fire damage per second to potentially quintuple. The fire will slowly burn out, meaning it causes reduced damage per second as it burns out. It is similar to a darius passive, sort of, in the sense that multiple attacks will increase the damage. However, each attack increases it by a base amount. Meaning if you have enough AP or AD for the fire to deal 20 per second, after a second basic attack it will deal 40 per second. The maximum is 5 stacks, with more basic attacks just renewing the fire. This ability has very good AP scaling and decent AD scaling, as well as pretty high base damage. This is when she is at her most powerful in her base form, meaning if any enemy sees her cane on fire they should not trade basic attacks. This is how she can pose a threat in laning phase, because clearly her first two basic abilities, while useful in defending herself, will not cause her to be much of a threat at all. She also gains bonus attack speed during this time. using W will cause her to cast a seal of protection on an area, taking effect after .25 seconds of being cast. All enemy units in the area deal 20/30/40/50/60% reduced damage (+1% reduced damage per 25 ability power). The seal of protection is shaped as a oval, with the longer end facing her. Can be cast out in about a 1000 unit radius. Allied units inside the area have 10/15/20/25/30 + 1%per 50 AP damage reduction. using E again will cause her to create a healing circle around a target area. While the circle is roughly 600 units radius, the cast range is rougly 500 units radius. All allied champions in the area recieve 20/30/40/50/60% (+1% per 50AP) increased healing effects, doubled for healing from base health regen. This also increases the speed of plant growth. using R will cause her to unleash a loud nova from the totem, wherever it is. This triples the cooldown for her next E, but it stuns all enemies in a 1000 unit radius around the totem for .8/1/1.25 seconds based on R level.

if she has her totem, the channel for this ability is very short, roughly .4 seconds. Otherwise, she channels for 3 seconds.

R: She places her totem. If she is right next to the placed totem, activating it will cause her to pick it back up. However if she is away from the totem, she relequishes her energy to mnifest her husband (she stops moving but you gain control of a new set of abilities and can control the husband),

Because he died somewhat young, he is far more agile and threataning than her. He operates in a radius around the totem.

Passive: as a ghost, he can walk through walls (like a permanent Kahn E). However, his basic attacks only deal 60/65/70% of his total AD, but also deal 10% of his AP. His basic attacks deal magic damage (to make up for his high damage, mobility and low cooldowns from his abilities) If he leaves the radius of the totem, he rapidly loses health. While out of combat, he gains tripled health regen.

Q: This ability stacks up to 2/2/3/3/4 times (based on Q level). Activating this ability causes him to take a short hop in a direction, much like a shorter-range vayne tumble. However, he can obviously activate it multiple times in quick succession. Basic attacks greatly reduce the cooldown for this ability, with only 3 basic attacks needed to add back a little over 2 stacks. He gains 20/30/40% attack speed and movement speed decaying over 1 second after a jump. W: His next basic attack gains 25/50/100 bonus range (he leaps forward the units he needs to with his bonus range) and gains bonus magic damage as well as dealing 100% AD for the basic attack. He also gains 80/100/120% movement speed decaying over 2.5 seconds, as well as invisibility during that time. E: He quickly leaps to a target area and stabs forward, dealing 50% physical and 50% magic damage. If he strikes the back of a champion, it deals double damage and slows them by 30% decaying over 1 second. R: releases his form and returns control to his wife.

Notes: The totem has 5/8/10 HP points, and provides a vision radius about half that of a ward. If an enemy champion attacks the totem, however, the screen fills with a purple warning on the outer field of vision, to warn the player the totem is being attacked. It also reveals the attacking champion. Activating R will knock back all units near the totem upon summoning of the husband. If the husband or totem dies, the ultimate will go on cooldown. Otherwise, you can alernate between the husband and wife at will.

TL;DR: Place a totem, you can spawn a new champion at the totem with different abilities at any time, with global range. Great for applying pressure across the map in multiple places, sucks in laning phase.
