"You Inspire Me" - A poem about Jhin
So instead of doing my classwork today, I wrote a little poem inspired by Jhin. Let me know what you think, but mostly I made this for fun, so I hope you enjoy it!
You Inspire Me
A flick of the wrist, a spray of blood, We're good at doing the things that we love. The actors assemble, we've got a crew! But only I know what we're here to do.
One liners and monologues, pirates and priests, Perfection's our standard, perfection's our least.
The pianist is ready, the star's in her place, A masterpiece of cruelty, a shot through the face. A heart-pounding tempo, but of course my mind's clear When you pierce through the shadows, there's nothing to fear.
A paragon of justice, but tragedy waits And a relentless killer, they'll soon share their fates. Demons are droll, but they do play their part, And this performance will tear out your heart.
Places everyone! The show must go on! Now the twist is revealed, like the coming dawn.
We all take a bow, but I don't stay low, The performance is in me, and I am aglow! I swear that I'm done, I swear it's my last, But those words are as oft-used as knives in my past.
