This was the last sound Senna heard before the Warden thrust his lantern upon her, tearing her soul from her vessel. She screamed as she felt herself being detached from her own body, tendrils of green light from the lantern whipping around her as if they were spectral chains tethering to her soul.
Her beloved rushed to help her, but before he could reach her it has over. Her soul quivered within the lantern, her spectral eyes piercing into her beloved’s.
Her soulless body collapsed onto the hard-beaten ground. It was still living, still breathing, but without any consciousness.
Her beloved cried in agony, tears streaming down his face as he faced the Warden. His mouth twisted, and his eyes lost their kind glow, instead being replaced with the rage of a broken man.
He picked up Senna’s fallen weapon, and began fighting the Warden with a renewed vigor.
The fight moved away from the fallen body, and eventually the forest clearing where the tragedy had taken place was quiet save for the sounds of the wandering undead.
Senna’s body still lay there, her eyes rolled back within her head and her chest moving up and down steadily.
A fog rolled over the clearing. Spirits whispered in a terrifying unison.
A lost soul drifted into the moonlight piercing the clearing.
It was the spirit of a girl who had died long ago. An Ionian slain by Noxian blade. The red spirit examined the body, scarcely believing what lay before her. A living, breathing, soul-less body ripe for her to take. It was a second chance at life, to live the years stolen from her by the Noxians. A chance to finally leave the terrifying spirit prison that was the Shadow Isles. A chance to take action and help defend her nation, to avenge her own death, and to finally be at peace.
She lay a cold ethereal hand on the chest of the living body. It was warm and inviting, like a freshly made bed ready to be lept into. The spirit had almost forgotten what warmth felt like.
Moans came from the outskirts of the clearing. More spirits were coming, rushing towards the body with the same thoughts in mind as the girl spirit.
The girl spirit hurriedly possessed the body before the others could.
Within the body, the girl sat up, breathing heavily. She put a hand to her chest, feeling the beat of a heart once more. Tears filled her eyes as she experimentally moved her legs and head, and wiggled her fingers in front of her face. She was alive. She was alive. She cried out in joy, wiping her face and shakily standing upright.
Suddenly, she froze. Memory fragments of the body’s past host remained in the brain. Only a few fragments were still there after the soul was torn from the body. The most readable were the last few moments before the soul was taken. The girl spirit reflected on these memories, letting them play out before her.
She saw the previous owner of her body using some kind of blasting weapon to fight the soul collector Thresh. A shiver went down the girl’s spine. She had been having to flee from that monster ever since she had arrived at the Isles. If he had gotten his twisted hands on her she would have been subjected to the cruelest of spiritual torture. She had already seen what he had done too several other Ionian spirits...
Next she saw Thresh hooking his chain around her body, dragging her towards him with a sickening laugh. She turned her head to see a strange man lunging towards her, his face contorted into a look of pure terror.
“SENNA!” he screamed just as Thresh’s lantern began tearing at her.
The memory suddenly ended.
“Senna,” the girl spirit said aloud, relishing the ability to speak through vocal chords again.
A shiver ran through her body.
She was free to leave the Shadow Isles now. She could finally leave this place.
Shakily, the girl began to walk, her boots crunching the spectral grass of the clearing. She basked in the moonlight, watching as it danced on her dark skin.
She eventually trudged her way to the edge of the island, a spot where she had stayed many a night, dreaming of one day leaving.
She searched the coast and found the vessel that had taken Senna and the strange man here in the first place. It was a strange looking boat to be sure. Painted on the side were the words Demacian Light. Foreign memories flashed in her head of a rune weapon made of Demacian stone, a blaster her past host had wielded. She had been a part of the Demacian special forces along with the strange man.
Perhaps it was a good idea to visit Demacia first, and find a weapon like it. She could pose as the original Senna, and potentially use her position to find her Noxian killer.
All the pieces were falling into place.
The girl leapt into the boat, going below decks and hiding within. She would wait for the man to come back to the boat and take her to Demacia. She would have to be careful about it, she realized, for if she was spotted by him... who knew what could follow.
#Abilities
Passive: Death’s Door- When an enemy near her is low health, (about 40%) Senna gains a burst of speed which she can use to catch up to the enemy or run away from them for a short time.
Q: Spirit Sweep- Senna’s blaster spews a red bolt of spirit energy, which she uses to sweep enemies to the side while damaging them. If they hit a wall they will be briefly stunned.
W: Soul Tether- Senna uses the spirit energy from her blaster to wrap around a champion and pull them back while damaging them.
E: Ethereal Blaze- Senna fills herself with spirit energy, making her next basic attack deal extra damage.
R: Haunting Inferno- After 0.5 seconds of charge time, Senna releases a blast of spirit energy around her in a large circle, greatly damaging champions who are caught in it.
