PSA - Championship Thresh Code from figure Promo EXPIRES SOON

I just received my thresh figure today, when I was entering the code I noticed an "EXPIRES" warning underneath. The EXPIRE date is November 16, 2015! Since I bought this for myself it doesn't affect me but if anyone bought this as a gift to someone else, say for a certain big holiday coming in 2 month, this code will be expired by then.

I would love to hear a Rioters thoughts on this..... especially since there wasn't a mention of this code expiring on the Merch page

I opened mine on Christmas because my mom had gotten it for me as a gift, and no one had any idea that the code had already expired. They didn't list it on the website, and the whole reason I wanted the figure was for the skin. I emailed them about it and they didn't do anything. I'm really furious because I would have bought the skin in the client if I knew that they were going to rip people off like that.
