hes got alot of options, though i would jungle with him so you have a decent grasp on mechanics, shaco is very easy mechanically, but requires good planning and such.
shaco also is great at supporting believe it or not. the key thing is to pack

, get ap blues and quints with a mix of armor, magic pen, and mana regen in your runes, and get

and some ap or support items. he can peel decent with shiv and boxes as well as poke good. a combination of boxes, ghosts, and sightstone gives shaco unparalleled vision control, and good ap and cdr makes him dangerous mid/late game. also, jungle has alot of builds for him. the 4 options are

my biggest thing is to try any and all combinations, see what you like, and go from there. i know you've wanted LANE shaco, which is possible and works good, but shaco really opens up in the jungle, alot. :D. oh yeah, dont get tear early game, its great, but meditiation and regen should keep you straight
