PROJECT Skins Analysis
Here is my analysis of the PROJECT website and my predictions of the skins. The first 4 are easy. In the first entry clockwise from Yasuo's we have 2 fork like blades with "Auxiliary side blades allow for target laceration from multiple angles." and "“Solid smoke” material adaptable to unique molecular states." and the quote "Dark sight, shadows marked, death lives beside. Silencer, he follows. The shadow is within. Blood soaked, he stands. Vanish..." Who do we know who uses two forked blades, can attack from multiple angles, has a connection to solid smoke and all about shadow? This is obviously Zed.
In the second entry we see is a rapier-esque sword which "allows for flawless attack precision and maximum repel strength" and the quote "Weaves, unweaves; unraveled defense, dashing forward blade gleaming. Caught orbiting one vision, dashing, striking, blade dancing..." Fiora is a duelist who uses precise strikes and parries to defeat her enemies and the way duelists wield their swords can be compared to "Blade Dancing". The 3rd Project Skin is Fiora.
In the third entry we have a shield with "Retractable energy plate engineered with titanium fittings to provide maximum protection against burst attacks. Capable of blocking and stunning targets with operator energy assistance." and "Shield core coated in lightweight polymer composite. Graphene latticework designed to maximize mobility and weight distribution." it sounds from a distance that this could be either Braum or Leona both use shields and stun opponents and both seem to carry their shields with ease. Braum can block projectiles with his shield and on Leona's W her shield expands to be broader and protect more. In the quote going along with the shield it says "Brilliance in pieces, shrouded in ethereal flame. Protector, light bringer. Lone voice. Stand and Fight. In death heavy fields, now still she stands, light washes over..." it uses the pronoun "She" so it is obviously Leona if the brilliance, flame and light didnt tip you off that it was Leona.
The second to last entry has 2 guns. There are 2 champions that use dual pistols MF and Lucian. But MF's pistols are the same while Lucian's are different size and shaped like the two. The first pistol has a "Ion Caster Core" which fires "light beams charged via secondary focusing chamber. Ions channeled through primary chamber yield additional charges." the "Additional Charges" could be the 4 bursts off of his W. The second pistol has a "Heavy Light Amplifier" which fires "tracking flare capable of long range target acquisition." which could be his Q which has a longer range than his normal abilities and autos. The quote for the guns is "Piercing flame, he, cast in light. I see his vision, free from shadow, a blazing melody. Beyond the light, nothing, purity bound in fury..." with the "Piercing flame", "Free from shadow" and "Purity bound in fury" all fit to the theme of Lucian.
Now heres the last entry on the list and probably the hardest as at this time there isnt a quote along with the weapon. The weapon this time is what looks like a curved edge sword with a second edge off of the tang. Because its obvious this one is special as its the only one without a quote I think that the teaser image. From the teaser image there are 2 champions you can think of Master Yi, Xin Zhao and Jax. The image has a figure from the shoulders up. The body has pauldrons similar to Xin Zhao. The head has multiple eyes like the 6 of Jax and the 7 of Master Yi. And on the top of the head there is a helmet plume similar to Xin Zhao and Jax. While Jax has the 6 eyes fitting to the helmet and the plume, but the body type of the figure in the picture does not fit the squat, dwarfish figure of Jax aswell as being a non-human. The figure of the character in the image is obviously thinner and human which leaves Master Yi and Xin Zhao. Now comparing the weapon to the two candidates Xin Zhao wields a spear and Master Yi wields a katana. While both use two hands the katana uses two hands in the same place on the grip while a spear is wielded with one hand near the tip on the shaft and the other near the butt of the shaft and judging by the weapon there is only one place to hold it so that refutes the Xin Zhao theory (Jax also uses a lamp post as a pole arm). Now for the sword depicted in the entry. The sword is named the "Hyperlight "Alpha" Blade" and has a "Hyperlight core" that provides "precision balance and lossless energy distribution. “Alpha” fusion blade highly compatible with multi-target combat." The name "Alpha" and its compatibility with "multi-target combat" could connect to Master Yi's Q "Alpha Strike" and the "lossless energy distribution" could connect to Master Yi's E "Wuju Blade". "Wuju Blade" increases your basic attack damage by imbuing energy into the blade for no mana. This energy distribution has no eneregy loss.
I hope you liked my analysis of the 5 unknown new PROJECT Skins. While the first 4 are obvious the last one is not so clear. If you disagree or have something to add i would love to have a discussion about what you think.
