Xyrcai, the Master of Fate
Full disclosure, I'm atrocious with naming. The concept of this champion is that they can alter the fates of those around them to varying degrees, and the champion is envisioned as a support. He is a slightly longer range melee champion that uses a whip to strike at 100 range.
PASSIVE - Twisted Strands
- All enemies within 200 range lose 1(+1 per level) HP/s, all allies within 300 range gain 0.5 of the total stolen HP/s. (So if 5 enemies are within range at level 6, they're each losing 6 HP/s and all allies within 300 range will gain 15 HP/s)
Q Ability - Karmic Retribution
- An ally may be selected to gain a 10% damage reduction and half of any damage dealt to a selected ally for 3 seconds is pooled. This ability can be reactivated to discharge that damage (Maximum of 125 / 175 / 225 / 275 / 325 - Minimum of 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180) into the targeted enemy.
W Ability - Intervention
- Selected Ally or Enemy is moved 250 range in any direction. If click targeted, the ally moves toward (character) or enemy moves away from (character). Clicking and dragging allows selection of the direction they move.
E Ability - Swayed fate.
- Toggled ability. While activated, you double the range of your passive (400 for Enemies, 600 for allies), but you also take double the damage ticks that an enemy would receive instead of healing. This HP/s loss is still transferred to allies as normal. (Example: Level 5 you would lose 12 HP/s)
ULTIMATE (R) Ability - Fates Intertwined
- Two selected champions have their fates bound together, sharing damage across the two of them. If two allies are bonded, each of them will take 1/2 of the damage either takes. If an ally and enemy are bonded, each of them will take the full damage either takes; in this case the damage on the other end of the tether is true damage.
A lot of the abilities that seem stronger also have the potential to be detrimental is their downside. If you allies attack the enemy you've targeted with your ultimate, then your chosen ally (Or yourself) are punished for it. However, the enemy should also be more hesitant to attack your ally if they value the life of their ally that's been targeted. Your W can be used to help an ally dodge a skill shot, move over a small wall, gap close to an enemy (or gain some distance on an enemy). It can also be used on an enemy to move them into a dangerous skill shot, push them over a small wall, pull them closer to an ally they're trying to escape or push them away from an ally you wish to protect.
I'd love to hear feedback on the ability concepts.
