Rammus Okay, because of Rammus' passive, he gain AD from armor. It may be a redundant build, but what about item 3110 item 3022 item 3143 item 3074 item 3075 item 3068 Frozen Heart. Frozen Mallet. Randuins. Hydra. Thornmail. Sunfire Cape. Top Rammus by the way. Opinions?

While this might be a weird gimmick to mess around with, I feel like this specific build would not be very good for several reasons:

  1. No boots. Even with powerball you aren't going to reach a target on a melee champion with no gapclosers if you don't have boots. In addition, you aren't going to stick to any targets without boots.

  2. No attack speed. You aren't going to kill anything on an AD build if you both don't have any AD ratios and don't have any attack speed. Rammus doesn't have AD ratios or innate attack speed steroids, and this build also doesn't have any attack speed to help make it work.

  3. No magic resistance. While this might seem like a weird critique for what you are trying do do, but an Armordillo without any magic resistance is just going to die. A damage-oriented Rammus build needs some kind of magic resistance in order to actually do any damage.

  4. Frozen Heart/Randuin's Omen/Thornmail/Defensive Ball Curl anti-synergy. Frozen Heart and Randuin's Omen both have passives that reduce the enemy's attack speed. I'm not sure if they stack, but it seems like overkill to run both items. In addition, every auto attack you take will deal 'spike' damage back to your opponents from Thornmail's passive and during Rammus' Defensive Ball Curl, both of which are reduced in effectiveness by the Cold Steel passives from Frozen Heart and Randuin's Omen.

  5. Frozen Mallet is bad. Don't run Frozen Mallet.

  6. Spiked Shell only converts 25% of Rammus' armor into attack damage. That's not enough to have on a damage-oriented Rammus build based on using this armor conversion.

Switch out Hydra for Bork. It scales better and you don't need the extra waveclear that hydra provides if you have sunfire. Other than that, the build can work. Be sure to opt for replacement items if you need MR. Banshee's/Warmoggs are good items on Rammus for magic damage so if the enemy has a lot of AP, switch out your Frozen Heart. Frozen mallet is pretty bad due to how expensive it is, so just get boots if that was a 6th item choice.
