The Puppet Master
I have a Champion idea that I really think would be cool. I'm still editing this as there some stuff I would like to change, but this is just out here to be seen and to have people say what they think about it. I thought about having a Puppeteer concept in the game.
This is how I imagined the appearance of said Puppeteer. I imagined it as a young female, a teenager that is about thirteen. She'd be pretty thin, petite. Just a stick-figure, pretty much. She would have multi-color hair. A dark lavender base with some darker shading of purple at the tips and some sea blue hues mixed in. Sea blue highlights too, maybe. She would have hazel eyes. Brown, gold, and green in them. She would have pale skin, not naturally fair skin. Like pale skin from not getting enough sun. She'd still have a baby face with chubby cheeks. She would be short too, probably at a height of around 4'11" or 5'0". She's suppose to just have an appearance that isn't at all intimidating. She should just have a clockwork or daydreamer kind of theme to her with how she dresses.
Now we're gonna go on to abilities. Her auto-attacks will be melee based, though long-ranged from using razor wires. Her passive would be able to control a puppet (Will be explained in Q ability) for twenty seconds if she dies with the Q ability activated. Her Q ability is to generate two puppets, which will be connected to the Puppet Master with strings, that have a build/stats that she has too. Say you build her extremely tanky. Just pure armor and/or magic resist. The puppets will be tanky too, but they'll be a more mild version of her stats. However you build the Puppet Master, the puppets will have a mild version of those stats. The puppets will attack whatever you're attacking unless dead, then you must control them when dead. The puppets' appearances could change according to who she just last killed. Say she kills Veigar, the puppets will look like Veigar. I was thinking she could say in response, "We can be friends now!" Her W ability will be to stab her wires into the ground, then fling herself forward in whatever direction you're facing. This is a skill shot. This will be able to go over terrain, kind of like Talon is able to. You can use this both defensively and offensively. Defensively: You use it as an escape to get away. Offensively: You hit a champion, which will knock them down. If you use it defensively, the animation would be of you flying forward, then rolling on the ground as you eventually get up on your feet. If you use it offensively, the animation would be you flying in the air in the same way as the defensive way, but you slam your feet into the champion, which will cause the enemy to be stunned briefly. You'll land on your feet quickly afterwards and skid to a stop. Her E ability is to wrap some strings around an ally, then use two strings to travel a short distance with them. You can go over terrain with this as well, depending on how far away from that terrain you are to it. This could be used to get away with someone or to ambush. The animation would be strings coming out of her spine to wrap around an ally, then strings coming out of her wrists to slam into the grounds, which will quickly and repeatedly slam into the ground and towards a direction you pick until the duration. The ultimate would be to be able to control an enemy champion for a little bit, a few seconds. This is also a skill shot, just like her W. The downside is that the Puppet Master is very vulnerable to this. Her armor/magic resist is lowered during this and she can't move or defend herself, meaning if she uses this ultimate in a bad position or with a lot of enemies around, she could very easily die. The good part about this is that if used correctly and at a good time, she could potentially kill an enemy champion by bringing them under a turret of hers or in a group of her allies, which will be able to slaughter the enemy. For balancing, I thought there could be a "struggle option" like in videogames where you have to spam certain buttons to succeed. Maybe the enemies could have that chance. If they fail, they're controlled. If they succeed, they escape and can do whatever they want. I was thinking about the animation being that she holds her hands up as strings come out of her wrists, latching onto the enemy's wrists and ankles. You control them by doing the same thing you would do to control your own champion. You just right click and move them.
For a backstory/personality, I thought about her being eccentric, a daydreamer, naive, and carefree. She is bipolar, though. I was thinking that the more she dies in the game, the angrier, less carefree she gets. She progressively gets angrier and angrier after she dies so many times in the game. Why? Her backstory consists of her being treated unfairly. She didn;t have many, or any for that matter, friends when growing up. She was quite a lonely child, which is why she was such a daydreamer. She was left with her thoughts. She did end up getting bipolar and more sensitive from how she was treated, so she easily loses her temper. From being left alone, she did have creative, imaginative thoughts, though. This is how she became the Puppet Master. She was able to one day think of it, then put everything in her heart and mind to make puppets. They became her best friends when she finished her masterpiece. She is always seen carrying a puppet or making a new one. It became her obsession to be a Puppeteer, because they were the closest things to friends that she had.
This is all I have so far, but I do plan on editing this more as I'm not completely finished. I'm just putting this out there for suggestions and opinions.
