Idea's for more Support Junglers?

In my opinion, IvernIvern was a huge leap for Riot. A jungler that doesn't need to do damage but can still be just as impactful? Hell yeah sign me up! Personally, I'd like to see more but other than including cc/shielding into the kit, what are some unique ideas that could create a Jungler not centered around dealing damage?

Realized I have at least 2 concepts that fit this. Stay tuned, because one will be lighting up the darkness tonight. Yes, that is a hint.

Something I would personally like to see would be a champion using the plants in the jungle for specific effects.

Thematically, they could be an alchemist from Zaun, breaking into the cultivairs of chembarons to steal plants to experiment with them, since they want to find a cure for the diseases caused by the Zaun Grey.

To enable them to clear the jungle (a support champion who isn't supposed to deal damage would need some help there, like Ivern has his passive), they could have an unique item, like Viktor has his Hextech Core. This item could passively have the effect that all spells of the champion are burning jungle creatures for additional damage.

Then it also alters your smite. You are now able to smite plants, getting a little bit of gold and the healing effect from the smite for it. Additionally, you are harvesting the plant, which alters the active effect of your unique item.

Well the main issue seems to be balancing a champion like this. The main reason Ivern works is his passive, so an enchanter-like jungler would need either a passive to make up for the lack of ability to be able to clear OR have a huge downside to their basic abilities if used incorrectly to insure that if you are able to clear efficiently that you can't abuse it, but that the champ could work into certain match-ups. maybe something like having a two part passive Passive/Aggressive Nature - While out of combat, if you are attacked in the jungle or brush: you and the closest ally gain 5/15/25/35 (+40% bonus armor)(+30% bonus magic resist) Armor and Magic resist, this bonus goes away if you attack a different target. while in combat if you attack an enemy champion or use an ability on an ally champion: you and the closest ally (prioritizing ally champions you used your abilities on) gain 10%/20%/30%/40%(+4% per 100 AP) Attack Speed for the next 3.5s. tbh I'm just throwing this out here real quick I have more and better ideas, this might not be very good its either too much or lackluster, but the jungler would need something to either make them last longer in the jungle for clearing, especially since this may not be the best for champs rn. I'll add more to the post, but this champ would have a shield, probably on E, and a stun in either their q or ultimate ability to allow ganking to be possible, but less damage more so through buffs. something that would also be nice would be a decent vision ability as well since vision has been nerfed so something to assist with that would allow this or champs like ivern to be able to be played

K time for magicabizillissious wizzardry with some ice

The Mason He has been never called on the ring except for fixing walls and turrets or for restyling the battlefield for xmas and other events when the matches are over.

But now with the economical crisis even in Runterra and the absence of real new champs 'couse most of the youngster prefer doing other less demanding and more rewarding jobs like, theytubbers, ratch and company. He is now in the ring!

Who is the Mason? a noble figure with a paper hat

He do no damage, he is too tired to punch and kick, he can barely lay on his comfy sofa at the end of the day and drink a beer in peace

but he can build walls and block passages, build booby traps, repair and upgrade turrets

The Perv

He linger in the jungle and in the bushes

He wear a trench coat and you don't wanna know what he wear inside.

He will inculcate fear and will blemish your experience for a lot of time, killing him will not grant you any good experience.

Just avoid it and do not accept or collects candies in the jungle!

The Ex Wife

She is more subtle than a snake, more evil than the fluffy Teemo

She is looking for revenge

She will place fake monsters and flowers in the jungle

You farm monsters thinking that you'll get something from em, you weren't more wrong, they will just pop like a soap bubble and in the worst explode in your face. Flower instead of making you jump will actually explode and root you The tasty fruits of the river? they will be poisonous and will make you poop so much that your new boots will be unusable.

The Filthy Hobo

He will poop in all the bushes, no way to hide, you'll die for the stench and get psoriasis. Do not trust the jungle! the creature living there will ask you for money and give you venereal illnesses.

The Pusher

You already know him, don't lie to me At every match and after match you use to go to him and ask for his candies...

Now He came to get back his money, with a bunch of brutes and bad cut mushrooms

He will send his brutes and fix you up, and when you'll be in need he will give you the worst stuff in Runeterra you'll feel so bad that Shaco illusion and Fiddle fear will look like a carousel for kids.

Maybe something where their passive or q allows them to heal with their basic attacks? Then they could build damage and still have a support-y role?

I tried my hand at something...idk exactly how well it'd work, but there's definitely a lot of room for unique and interesting mechanics. Shoutout to Satomi for the start of the plants-as-munitions idea. Let me know what you think.
